Andrew Buchholz, CPA, CCIFP liked thisAndrew Buchholz, CPA, CCIFP liked thisAfter finding out my team was being eliminated while I was on a work trip in New York, I’ll be honest - I felt discouraged and pretty unsure of what the future would look like. But, those feelings didn’t last long. On my flight home from NYC, I asked the person sitting next to me, “have you ever been laid off?” That one question turned into a nearly two-hour conversation I won’t forget. He shared some perspective that really stuck with me... that while moments like this feel big right now, they often become just a small bump in the road over time. It was exactly what I needed to hear, - thank you again, John Randolph. 😊 From there, I shared that I was looking for work here on LinkedIn, and the support I received was incredible. I heard from so many people, both familiar faces and new connections, who reached out with encouragement, shared opportunities, and even offered to advocate for me. That kind of support gave me hope, encouraged me to keep pushing forward, and made me excited for what lies ahead. To everyone who reached out or interacted with my post in any way - THANK YOU. It meant more than you know and truly changed my perspective AND the outcome of this situation. So, what’s next? A bit of a full-circle moment actually. 😊 After an “interesting” few months, I’m excited to share that I’ve rejoined CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen), but in an entirely new role. I’ll be joining Dan Resnick, Chelsea Shippy, and the rest of the CLA Digital team, focusing on building/growing cybersecurity partnerships and solutions here in the Minneapolis area. I’m really excited for what’s ahead and incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me along the way. Lastly, I want to give a special shoutout to Samantha Metcalf, who over the past four years has been a constant source of support and encouragement, always pushing me to be my best. Many days I am still befuddled by how I ended up in this job, doing what I do on a daily basis. Perhaps a small part of me can intellectually grasp the concept, but it doesn’t feel real. My career path has been a strange one. False starts, restarts, shifts, and new paths have abounded. I would never have ever dreamed that I would end up at a public accounting firm. This last year has been very rewarding for me, in ways that I could not have anticipated. I get to help people and make a difference on a daily basis. I am part of teams that interact in positive ways to help each other grow. I have met people who encourage me to be better and allow me to do the same for them. Even stranger, I was blessed to be seen and selected to focus extra effort in benefiting the region and communities that I love in the Upstate of South Carolina. I am very thankful for this past year, and looking forward to more to come.

This newly constructed 28,000 sq/ft art center offers expansive galleries and art classes in Bradenton, Florida. The interior and exterior are clad with nearly 8,000 sq/ft of our hook seam panel system in copper.
