We Launched &Again! Here’s Everything They Don’t Tell You About Building Something From Scratch 💻🧠👖 One week since we launched &Again — a circular marketplace for fashion — and I still can’t believe it’s real. It’s been months of dreaming, learning, designing, doubting, tweaking, testing, and trying again. The truth is, launching a startup isn’t just about having a great idea. It’s about being wildly resourceful, a little delulu, and deeply curious. Here are some of the unexpected (and kind of magical) things I’ve learned along the way: 🌈 Be obsessively curious. Don’t know how to do something? YouTube it. Google it. Ask a stranger. Trial and error your way there. Building a business means learning new things daily — from product testing and UX design to legal docs and APIs. 🛠 Done is better than perfect. Perfection slows you down. Get the MVP out, test it, break it, fix it, improve it. Repeat. (&Again, if you will 😄) 🙋🏽‍♀️ Be a YES person — and figure it out along the way. Say yes to the things that scare you. The pitch you don’t feel ready for. The opportunity that seems too big. You’ll be amazed at what you can do when you commit before you have all the answers. 💡 You’ll wear every hat. One day you’re building pitch decks. The next you’re uploading thrifted finds, DMing users, negotiating fees, or figuring out how Stripe works. It’s messy, but it’s yours. 🪄 It’s okay to make it up as you go. No one has the full manual. Most of us are figuring it out step by step. The important part is that you start. 👣 Walk the talk. You can’t build something meaningful if you don’t live by it. I couldn’t talk about sustainable shopping without holding myself accountable — so I did a 6-month no-new-clothes challenge. It changed how I see my wardrobe, my habits, and my values. (& yes, I thrifted a lot.) 🤝 The right people matter. Friends who share your posts. Developers who go the extra mile. Designers who get your vision. Customers who believe in your purpose. Community is everything. 💖 Build something you love, and make it for someone you love. I built &Again with my daughter in mind — to show her that we can create meaningful change and have fun doing it. This is just the beginning, and there’s so much more to do — but I wanted to mark this moment. To everyone who’s supported me, answered my 2am questions, thrifted with us, or believed in the vision: thank you. We’re live. We’re learning. We’re building something beautiful. Here’s to second chances — for clothes, for ideas, and for ourselves. #AndAgain
