Some argue that AI #museums risk tokenizing technology rather than critically engaging with its implications. Critics contend that AI‑generated art remains deeply entangled with unresolved issues of authorship, consent, and intellectual property. The broader questions about whether AI “creates” art or merely remixes human cultural output continues to drive skepticism about the legitimacy of machine‑generated aesthetics. AI isn’t neutral. Bias and representation concerns in machine learning systems ripple into artistic production.
