Sander ten Brinke (.NET MVP) has a clever fix that lives inside the package itself: ship a SKILL.md alongside your NuGet package, plus a buildTransitive .targets file that auto-installs that skill into the consumer's agent-skills folder on build. The next time an AI agent works in their repo, it has correct, first-party guidance on how to use your library. It's an elegant answer to a problem more of us will hit as agent-assisted development becomes the norm — and he's refreshingly honest about the trade-offs (writing into a consumer's source tree at build time is opinionated; there's an opt-out). Kevin Griffin shared thisYou've seen the red squiggle under a misspelled word a billion times. That was Tony Krueger's idea. Raymond Chen (The Old New Thing) wrote a lovely tribute to Krueger — the Microsoft developer who made spell-checking unobtrusive, with real-time red squiggles for spelling and green for grammar, instead of a manual, interruptive step. He also reverse-engineered Chip's Challenge for the Windows Entertainment Pack without the source code, and spent 37 years as a full-time Microsoft engineer. He passed away on April 14, 2026. Everyone keeps talking about Microsoft 365 Copilot like it only works when you’re sitting at a desk. Big screen. Keyboard. Mouse. “Proper work”. That’s missing the point. The most underrated way to use Copilot right now? Your phone. Your voice. When you stop typing and start talking, Copilot becomes less of a chatbot and more of a thinking partner. You can capture ideas while walking, prep for meetings in the car, talk through a problem instead of staring at a blank screen, and actually use the tool when work happens – not just when you’re back at your desk. For SMBs and MSPs, this matters. Adoption doesn’t fail because Copilot isn’t powerful. It fails because people forget to use it. Voice removes friction. It fits into real workflows. It meets users where they already are – mobile, busy, distracted. If Copilot only lives inside Word or Outlook, you’ve limited its value before you’ve even started.
