Access to swim lessons can save lives—especially for children with autism. NPR's All Things Considered recently featured the YMCA of South Florida's "Swim Buddies" program, which helps kids with special needs, including those with autism, adjust to being in the water and learn drowning prevention skills and fundamental swimming techniques. It’s a powerful reminder that tailored support and meeting children where they are can help them build the skills and confidence they need to stay safe in and around the water. 🏊💙

Over the last 15+ years, our cancer support programs have helped more than 80,000 people navigate one of life’s most difficult journeys. As more families across the country are affected by this disease, the need for connection, care, and support continues to grow.
