Today and every day, we aim to support and spotlight the skilled hands and minds doing the world's most important work–and especially the next generation of tradespeople who are working to hone their their skill and pursue a career that will make an impact on the world. When we partnered with Academy Sports + Outdoors to bring actor Jacob Lofland to Odessa, we knew West Texas would show up—and the community did not disappoint! Beyond the autographs and photo ops, the highlight was connecting with students from Skillpoint Alliance Permian Basin. These students are putting in the work to master the trades, and we’re honored to support them with the boots they need as they kick off their careers. Jacob put it best: “It was beyond rewarding to meet so many hardworking men and women from West Texas and students who have chosen to pursue a career in the trades. We had an incredible time at the Wolverine Boots & Apparel event at Academy Sports + Outdoors in Odessa, joined by Jacob Lofland from the Landman program!
