💡 On June 15–16, our team joined Tech Week in Odesa and the first All-Ukrainian Forum of Technology Clusters Tech Synergy. The event brought together Ukrainian tech clusters, business communities, public sector representatives, international partners, and tech companies to talk about what comes next for Ukraine’s tech ecosystem. R&D Center WINSTARS.AI took part as a member of the IT-VN Association delegation. Our ecosystem was represented by Dmitry SOFYNA, CEO of R&D Center WINSTARS.AI, Павло Мойсеєв, and working group leads involved in joint projects. For us, Tech Synergy is not just another industry meeting. It is a way to turn shared ideas into real projects. During the forum, our delegation proposed several initiatives: launching Tech Synergy representative offices abroad, exchanging practical experience with EU cities and businesses on resilience, developing the UME SPACE, and building a network of technology parks across Ukraine. 🙌 We are glad to be part of this alliance and grateful to everyone who is helping make Ukraine’s tech ecosystem more connected, practical, and visible internationally.

🦾 AI becomes truly impactful when it moves from ideas to real solutions. Last week, Dmitry SOFYNA, CEO & Co-founder of R&D Center WINSTARS.AI, joined the AI/GovTech Hackathon Ukraine–Estonia as a Lead Mentor. For three days in Kyiv, 86 participants from Ukraine and Estonia worked in 17 mixed teams on 5 real public sector challenges. The topics went beyond GovTech in the narrow sense: teams also worked on socially important issues, including proactive monitoring of child rights, risk detection, public procurement quality, state registry analytics, cybersecurity, and cross-border cooperation. As a Lead Mentor, Dmitry supported the teams throughout the hackathon: helping them shape ideas, validate technical approaches, and move from concepts to practical solutions. 🚀 We are proud to be part of an initiative that brings together technology, public sector expertise, and international cooperation. This is exactly how strong partnerships are built: through shared work, trust, and solutions that can create value for people and institutions. The AI/GovTech Hackathon is organised by Civitta and Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV), funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU and the Estonian Ministry of Justice and Digital Affairs, and supported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Global Government Technology Centre Kyiv.

Our Tayra_ai took second place at the StartupWorldCup! 🎉 At the event, the team presented the solution to experts and industry representatives, and second place became a valuable confirmation of the product’s relevance, value, and potential for further development. 🚀 We are proud and sincerely congratulate Tayra_ai on this achievement!

💡 We appreciate CodeUA for highlighting our collaboration with CheckEye. For us, this project is a strong example of how AI can solve practical challenges in healthcare and make complex diagnostic processes faster, more accessible, and more scalable. 🧬 Together with CheckEye, we worked on a solution that helps bring important medical services into a digital format and creates real value for patients, doctors, and healthcare organizations.

🦾 Last week, our Lead Data Scientist, Atilla Bahchedjioglou, delivered a keynote at Deep Tech Atelier 2026 in Riga by Invest in Latvia, one of Northern Europe’s key deep tech events. Atilla’s talk was titled “AI, Defence, and Medicine: Ukraine’s New Industrial Transformation.” In his presentation, he spoke about Ukraine’s experience in developing AI solutions, defence technologies, and medical innovations in real-world conditions. In particular, he highlighted autonomous systems, drones, AI-driven data analysis, telemedicine, and rapid-response healthcare solutions. For us, this event was valuable not only as an opportunity to present R&D Center WINSTARS.AI expertise and showcase our leading startups, Tayra_ai and Trident Group, internationally, but also as a chance to connect with people from the industry, exchange experience, and discuss new potential collaborations. 🙌 Thank you to Deep Tech Atelier for the opportunity to be part of this conversation and share Ukraine’s perspective on the development of deep tech.

🏫 Massachusetts Institute of Technology published an article about a practicum by the MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning, where MIT students worked with representatives of Vinnytsia on economic development, innovation ecosystems, infrastructure, logistics, and workforce development. As part of this program, Dmitry SOFYNA, CEO and Co-Founder of R&D Center WINSTARS.AI, visited MIT as a member of the Ukrainian delegation and joined discussions on Ukraine’s role in the global technology ecosystem. The article highlights how Ukraine’s expertise in IT, digital services, and the drone industry continues to develop rapidly, creating new opportunities for the country. In his comment for MIT News, Dmitry Sofyna noted: “We want to transform Ukraine from a major player in engineering and scientific outsourcing into a hub for creating large-scale tech companies in defense, medicine, and energy.” 🙌 We value the opportunity to be part of this dialogue and to represent Ukrainian technological expertise internationally. 💡 Today, we want to highlight a special case — Tayra_ai, a Ukrainian HealthTech product built to reduce one of the most time-consuming parts of clinical work: medical documentation. Tayra.ai works as an AI medical assistant. It listens during a consultation, transcribes the conversation, structures the data, and creates a ready medical report. For R&D Center WINSTARS.AI, this case is especially meaningful because the core of the product is our AI work: a proprietary NLP model fine-tuned for medical terminology, ICD-10, ICPC-2, medications, and real doctor-patient language. 💡 Recently, we took part in Tech360, where this year’s discussions focused on investment, new growth opportunities, shifts in the labor market, IT education, and digital sovereignty. One of the ideas that stood out most was how far tech in Ukraine already reaches beyond the industry itself and how strongly it is shaping the country’s broader economic development. Our CEO, Dmitry SOFYNA, also joined the event. For us, it was a great opportunity to gain a better sense of where the industry is heading and to share our own experience with fellow professionals. 🚀 For Ukrainian technologies to become part of the European market, expertise alone is not enough. What also matters is being present where new connections are made and shared opportunities begin.
