APCO International brings together the people and technologies helping keep communities connected when it matters most. Wilson Connectivity is excited to attend APCO 2026 alongside our partner, Tessco LLC, to connect with public safety professionals, system integrators, and technology leaders to discuss reliable in-building wireless solutions for mission-critical environments. If you're attending APCO, stop by the TESSCO booth to meet our teams and learn how we're helping organizations improve indoor cellular coverage and performance with proven in-building wireless solutions. We look forward to seeing you in August! https://apco2026.org/ #APCO2026 #PublicSafety #telecom

We were at the Safer Buildings Coalition seminar in Boston last week, where our Director of Public Safety, Gabe Adams, and CTO James Martin represented Wilson Connectivity. Gabe joined a three-person panel moderated by Chief Alan Perdue (Ret.), CFO, FM. They covered ERCES codes, qualifications, testing, permitting, and how the parties involved actually coordinate on a project. On the product side, Wilson supports public safety communications with a UL 2524 BDA and supports 911 inside by boosting existing cellular signal across Bands 4, 5, 12, 13, 14, 25, 71, and C-Band using carrier-ready repeaters. For bigger sites, Zinwave Fiber DAS scales up offices, data centers, hospitals, and campuses. Emergency response doesn't start when first responders arrive. It starts when the 911 call goes through, and it holds only if they can keep talking once they're inside the building. #PublicSafety #connectivity

School safety depends on more than individual technologies. It depends on how well critical systems work together when every second matters. Reliable in-building wireless, emergency communications, and integrated safety technologies all play a role in helping schools prepare for the moments they hope never come. Join us at the Safer Buildings Coalition School Safety Tech and Wireless Seminar in Salt Lake City on August 27 to explore practical approaches to building resilient wireless infrastructure for K-12 environments. Large-scale DAS deployments are really logistics projects disguised as RF projects. 🔧 KAIA’s deployment included 29 Primary Hubs, 232 Secondary Hubs, and more than 1,200 Remote Units operating across an active airport environment. Coordinating testing, calibration, and integration at that scale requires operational discipline as much as technical expertise. Read more here. https://lnkd.in/e7xzD4FX #Wireless #PublicSafety

Future expansion is easier when the infrastructure is already designed for change. KAIA’s all-fiber DAS architecture supports frequencies from 150 MHz to 2700 MHz, giving the airport the flexibility to scale services without major infrastructure rebuilds. 🛫 The operational costs of future upgrades are often determined during the original deployment design phase. ERCES projects are getting more complex. Code updates, RF interference risks, and multi-stakeholder coordination can impact timelines long before installation begins. Success depends on early collaboration between building owners, AHJs, frequency license holders, and integrators. Join the conversation at the Safer Buildings Coalition In-Building Public Safety Communications Seminar in Boston on July 14. We'll cover code changes, testing best practices, and what reliable public safety communications require today.
