Employee experience isn’t about adding more employee perks. It’s about designing work and resources that people actually need and use. In our recent webinar with Dean Carter (co-author of Employee Experience Design), one idea stood out: "Great employee experiences are designed with people, not done for them." This aligns with what we see in the data here at Wellist. Too often, even the most comprehensive employee resources go under-used because employees can’t easily find the right support at the moment they need it. A few themes from the conversation that resonated deeply: • Discovery before solutions: Start by understanding the real employee experience. The right solutions emerge from listening, not assumptions. • Mutual value matters: The most effective investments create value for both the individual and the organization. • The human edge in an AI era: Technology can accelerate access to information, but judgement and curiosity remain uniquely human. As AI reshapes how work gets done, the opportunity and responsibility for employers is clear: Design experiences that keep humans in the loop and enable people to bring wisdom, wit, and wonder to their work. If you could redesign one moment in your employee experience in 2026, where would you start?

Employee resources only create value when employees can find them, understand them, and actually use them. That’s hard to achieve, especially at scale. As Erica Volini highlights, Wellist closes the activation gap—the distance between belief and behavior—by making support easy to discover and effortless to act on through clear pathways, relevant insights, and frictionless next steps. This is how benefits move from static programs to a strategic driver of retention and productivity. #WhyWellist #EmployeeExperience #HRLeadership #HRTech #BenefitsStrategy #ROI
