Season 3 of Can I Have It in Blue? is here, kicking off with AI in product management, and, for the first time, in Portuguese. Álvaro Bezerra and Carolina Strecht, both PMs at Subvisual, discuss how AI shows up in their day-to-day work. In Part 1, they explore the old guard vs. the new generation of PMs, the gap between those who endured manual documentation and those who never had to, why you still can’t automate what you don’t know how to do manually, among other themes. Part 1 is out now. Stay tuned for Part 2, where Álvaro and Carolina go deeper into discovery, prototyping, and how they keep AI in check. Handwritten specs drift the moment a prop changes. Every component in our library ships with a spec.json file: exhaustive prop values, a forbidden list of mistakes we've actually seen, and one canonical example. But we don't write these by hand. We generate them from our types, using react-docgen or similar, so a generated spec only drifts if someone forgets to run the generator. That's a problem the audit step catches on its own. A letter of credit, the backbone of international trade, is a set of conditions attached to a payment. If the documents check out, the money moves. Today, that process involves couriers and weeks of back-and-forth between banks. When we say fax machines, people think it's a metaphor. It's not. There are companies in 2026 processing trade documents by fax. On stablecoin rails, the gap between "goods delivered" and "payment received" collapses to minutes. The container moves; the money follows. Automatically. For a supplier running on thin margins, that gap isn't just an inconvenience; it's the difference between making payroll and not. Citi has already piloted smart-contract-based trade settlement with Maersk. We shipped AGENTS.md files to our component library. The agent stopped inventing component names; that part worked. Then it did three things we didn't ask for. The exact failures are on slide 2. The fix wasn't more documentation. It was three layers that removed the guessing: spec files the agent can parse, not just read; a closed token layer with no escape hatch; and an automated audit that caught what was left. Swipe through for how each layer works and read the full guide on the Content Hub 👉 https://buff.ly/YTZcODE #aiagents #componentlibrary #designsystems #softwareengineering #devtools

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first edition of Tech Lands! The room filled with tech folks living in Portugal: expats and locals; people who've been here for years and people who just landed. The conversations were open and honest: what brought you here, what you're working on, what you're figuring out with AI, and what you want this community to become. A huge thank you to Alex Myers for bringing this community together, and to Startup Braga for joining us and sharing what they do and how they can support people building things in the region. The math of corporate treasury: one company, forty-something countries, forty-something local currencies, forty-something separate bank accounts… Each with its own process, its own rules, its own idle balance sitting there doing nothing. The stablecoin answer is almost offensively simple. Convert at the point of collection. Yuan becomes USDC. Euros become USDC. Yen, reais, Australian dollars… All of it becomes the same thing. One pool of dollar-denominated digital cash that can move anywhere, any time, in minutes. That's not just faster, but also a different treasury architecture entirely. AI coding agents are writing more and more production code, and most component libraries were never built for that. Docs get read, but compliance is a different problem. João Luís Zamith wrote the practical sequel to David Lange's "Shipping a Component Library That LLMs Can Actually Read", the piece that got AGENTS.md files in front of the agent in the first place. His answer: stop describing the rules to the agent and start encoding them. The real trap isn't an agent that ignores your docs, but one that reads them and still gets it wrong. Every multinational has money it technically owns but can't use. It's sitting in local bank accounts across dozens of countries, in dozens of currencies. Not being invested. Not being deployed. Just parked. This happens because moving it is expensive and slow enough that it often isn't worth the trouble. Treasury teams call it trapped cash. The standard fix isn't really a fix: pre-fund accounts weeks in advance, run Monday morning rebalancing calls, accept that some portion of cash will always be stuck somewhere you don't need it. We dig into it in episode 4 of the Stability Series 👉 https://buff.ly/QWDkJLN #StabilitySeries #stablecoins #treasury #fintech
