Agriculture feeds Africa. But who is financing the businesses that keep the sector growing? Across the continent, Agri-SMEs are creating jobs, strengthening food systems and driving economic growth. Yet many still struggle to access the finance they need to scale. For lenders, agriculture is often viewed as too risky. For Agri-SMEs, access to capital remains one of the biggest barriers to growth. But what if the challenge is not that agricultural finance is impossible, but that we need better ways to understand, manage and de-risk that investment? Join us for this important mainstage discussion at Africa Impact Summit 2026: 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗗𝗘-𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗨𝗡𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗜-𝗦𝗠𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗦 𝗔𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔 📅 10 June 2026 ⏰ 14:05 – 15:05 📍 Main Plenary Hall, Ciela Resort Moderated by: Precious Wilson Nkandu, MBA Speakers: Tidzitwa Zulu, Country Director, Aceli Africa Zambia Austin Chijikwa CFA, Head of Investment Banking, Zanaco Yvonne Tensha Chalwe-Mpala , Co-Founder & COO, wCap Limited Habiba Ali. FSESN, Founder & CEO, Sosai Renewable Energies These leaders bring extensive experience across agricultural finance, commercial banking, private credit, impact investing and ecosystem development, offering practical perspectives on how capital can reach more agricultural enterprises across Africa. The conversation will explore: ✓ Why Agri-SMEs remain underfinanced ✓ How lenders can better understand and manage agricultural risk ✓ Lessons from successful de-risking models across Africa ✓ The role of technical assistance in improving investment readiness ✓ What it takes to scale agricultural finance across borders ✓ Building stronger partnerships between banks, investors and ecosystem actors If Africa is serious about food security, job creation and economic transformation, unlocking finance for Agri-SMEs must be part of the solution. • Well said.

Although Africa is bursting with great talent and such rich raw materials in the Beauty industry, it still lags so far behind in manufacturing its own beauty products for both local and global consumption. Nigeria and South Africa have taken lead in growing this market, and yet in Zambia, we are still so far behind. What can we do to improve our creative businesses and actively take part in the large pie?! These were my thoughts in the conversation “From Salon to Factory” held by the African Union Development Fund in charge of Arts and Creative Enterprises.

This week wCap Limited participated in the African Venture Capital Association (AVCA) conference in Nairobi. The most noteworthy event was the launch of the Private Credit Summit. From all the deliberations, it is clear: private credit is no longer peripheral, it is central to Africa’s capital markets evolution. Strong momentum, disciplined deployment and real solutions are required for the missing middle. #PrivateCredit #AVCA2026

✨ We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of AVCA's inaugural Private Credit Summit. Bringing together leading fund managers, allocators, advisors and industry stakeholders, today’s discussions reinforced what many in the market already recognise: private credit is no longer a peripheral strategy in Africa’s capital landscape, but iincreasingly central to financing growth across the continent. 2025 saw a surge in #PrivateDebt, with deal volume rising 57% YoY (a record high) according to #AVCAResearch. A few key themes stood out throughout the afternoon: 🟠Private credit in Africa is firmly moving from thesis to execution, with strong investor appetite and proven risk-adjusted returns. 🟠Success in the asset class is fundamentally driven by disciplined origination, rigorous structuring and proactive portfolio management. 🟠In the absence of deep ratings infrastructure, strong underwriting continues to rely on both quantitative fundamentals and qualitative assessment of management quality and alignment. 🟠Across the board, collaboration, scale and consistency of performance were highlighted as critical to the next phase of market development. We now welcome delegates to our networking reception this evening, an opportunity to continue conversations in a more informal setting and reflect on the day’s insights, ahead of an action-packed day tomorrow as Day 1 of the Private Capital Conference begins. #PrivateCredit

𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐖𝐂𝐀𝐏 𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐄𝐗𝐄𝐂𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐍 𝐈𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐈𝐍 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 Lusaka, Zambia 13th February 2026 wCap Limited has completed an investment in Delicious Milling Ltd, a Zambian FMCG agro-processing company operating a maize milling facility supplying staple foods across the country. The facility will provide growth capital to support operational expansion, and increased production capacity. The transaction reflects wCap’s strategy of providing structured medium-term private credit solutions to capital-efficient businesses operating in underserved, high-impact sectors across Southern Africa. Delicious Milling operates in a sector critical to food security, local value addition, and economic resilience. The investment will strengthen its maize procurement capacity and enhance operational stability. The business produces and distributes staple maize-based milling products to major national retail chains, independent high-density retailers, and district-level bulk distributors across the country and selected countries in the region. Through its network of farmers and aggregators, the company contributes to rural incomes and strengthens Zambia’s agricultural value chain. Its maize brand by-product further supports the livestock feed sector, reinforcing circularity within the food system. “This investment gives us the stability to procure maize efficiently, manage costs better, and maintain consistent supply to our customers,” said Peter Cottan General Manager of Delicious Milling. “In the milling industry, predictable working capital and operational reliability are critical to success.” The Partners at wCap stated, “Our investment in Delicious Milling reflects our commitment to supporting resilient, early-stage businesses operating in essential sectors of the Southern African economy. We provide structured private credit to align with cash-flow realities, enabling businesses to scale responsibly and sustainably. Food processing and agricultural value chains remain fundamental to economic stability, and we are pleased to partner with a business that demonstrates operational efficiency and compelling growth fundamentals.” 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐂𝐚𝐩 wCap Limited is Zambian based Investment Management Firm that provides structured financing solutions to early-stage, high growth businesses in Zambia and Southern Africa. The firm specialises in deploying medium-term facilities aligned to business cash-flow cycles in sectors that contribute to economic resilience and inclusive growth. wCap is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zambia.
