  • For the first time in a decade, auto service chains are helping more consumers with their vehicle needs than car dealerships. The reason? MOTOR Information Systems reports that service chains have kept prices steady and increased customer satisfaction at the same time. Our new Way Auto Repair platform is bringing vehicle maintenance costs down even lower, as customers can book service within our network of 27,000 shops, garages, or mobile mechanics, and receive more discounts through our app. Looks like the consumer is winning in the area of reduced car expenses - which has been our goal since the very beginning. https://lnkd.in/ekjABUh3

  • We're thrilled to share that our Way Repair Tech platform has been nominated for the 2026 MOTOR Information Systems Top 20 Awards, one of the automotive industry's most recognized award programs. Way Repair Tech is a reflection of the efforts of employees across engineering, product, customer support, sales, marketing, operations, and leadership. This nomination is true recognition of the collective work of our entire team and helps demonstrate the impact we're making in the automotive industry. No one wants to spend more to fuel up their vehicles, yet many people are literally leaving money on the floor by not taking advantage of gas savings that are incredibly easy to integrate into their daily lives. You can save $150 or more yearly on gas with our Way app's gas program. There are many options in the marketplace, so take a few minutes to explore how this could help you keep more of your hard-earned cash. We're also tracking the latest gas prices across America in real time because we believe our customers deserve data whenever they need it. https://lnkd.in/gCpQsJSA https://lnkd.in/gZf47yut

As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day, I reflect on one of the reasons I ventured into the auto industry: the need to modernize outdated operational methods. A car plays an important role in our lives. For many, getting a driver's license marks the beginning of true independence. It opens the door to freedom, allowing us to drive anywhere and explore anything! My goal is to help people to enjoy their vehicles more fully while we handle essential tasks such as maintenance scheduling, parking, and insurance. We are committed to making car ownership less stressful and more joyful.

Inflation is making summer travel more expensive, but people aren't staying home. Gas prices are up 40.5% year over year. Airline fares have climbed 26.7%. Hotels, restaurants, and just about every part of the travel experience cost more than it did last summer. Yet, here's what we're seeing at Way.com: Travel demand is actually up about 5% compared to last June. The story isn't that people have stopped traveling. It's that they've become much smarter about it, and a little more unpredictable. A few trends stand out: • People are taking longer trips. July 4 getaways now average 7 days, compared to the typical 5-day trip. Way.com: Travel demand is actually up about 5% compared to last June. The story isn't that people have stopped traveling. It's that they've become much smarter about it, and a little more unpredictable. A few trends stand out: • People are taking longer trips. July 4 getaways now average 7 days, compared to the typical 5-day trip. • Last-minute bookings have become the norm. Nearly 30% of travelers book airport parking within 36 hours of departure, and 1 in 5 book the same day. The downside? Those same-day travelers consistently pay the highest prices. • Every budget is represented. Demand is growing for both value-focused off-airport parking and premium options. There isn't one "average" traveler anymore. One thing I've learned from watching millions of trips: Airport parking is one of the most honest indicators in travel. Nobody pays to park for a trip they aren't actually taking. Right now, the parking lot says something encouraging: people aren't canceling vacations, they're just adapting. They're stretching holidays, looking more for value, and making more deliberate choices about where they spend. The irony is that while travelers are becoming more price-conscious, many are still waiting longer to book. And that can be the most expensive decision they make! My advice for this July 4? Don't wait until the last minute. Decide early, book early, leave early. Travel demand is still there. The difference is that today's travelers expect every dollar to work harder. That's a shift the entire industry should be paying attention to.

  • What an incredible experience at #IPMI2026 in Milwaukee! A huge thank you to all the airport leaders and parking innovators who took the time to meet with the Way team. These are the conversations that drive the future of parking forward. Way is committed to building connections that make car ownership smarter and more affordable — and events like International Parking & Mobility Institute (IPMI) remind us why that mission matters. Until next time, IPMI! #IPMI2026 #WayPlus #ParkingIndustry #MobilityInnovation #Milwaukee #Parking #WayCom

Americans aren't expecting a raise; they're just looking for relief. One statistic jumped out at me this week: According to the University of Michigan's Surveys of Consumers, nearly 6 in 10 Americans see a very low chance that their income will outpace inflation over the next five years. And only 10% expect their family income to grow faster than prices in the next year or two, the lowest level in more than a decade. Even if the economy shows signs of improvement, if people still feel like they're falling behind, that's the reality they live with every day. For millions of people, one of the biggest monthly expenses is their car. That's why I believe the next wave of consumer innovation isn't just about helping people earn more, it's about helping them keep more of what they already earn. We see this at Way.com every day. From parking to maintenance costs, drivers are looking to save in every aspect of car ownership. I believe the companies that win over the next decade will be the ones that help consumers navigate reality, not just promise a better future.
