Three weeks ago, Fatma-zahra Magdub joined ViaCommuna. Three weeks. In startup time, that's nothing. You're still finding your rhythm. Still building the context it took the founders two years to accumulate. Fatma skipped most of that. Not because we explained it perfectly. But because she asked the right questions. Hard ones. The kind that made us pause. "Why did you decide that?" "Have you considered approaching it differently?" "What's the reasoning behind this?" In a startup, that kind of engagement is rarer than it sounds. It's easy to join a team and execute. It's much harder — and far more valuable — to join a team and genuinely challenge it. Respectfully. Curiously. Without an agenda, but with real interest. What impressed me most was how quickly she understood not just what we're doing, but why we made the decisions we made. The context behind them. The constraints we were navigating. The things that look odd from the outside but make complete sense once you've lived them. Three weeks in, she's already a real asset. Not theoretically. Actually. We're building something hard. The problem is complex, the market is fragmented, and we're a small team carrying a lot. Every person who joins at this stage changes the shape of what we're building. Fatma has already changed ours — and I mean that as a compliment of the highest order. Glad to have you, Fatma. Keep the questions coming.
