  • School leaders carried a lot this year. 💙✨ The visible work. The invisible work. The planned work. The unexpected work. The questions answered, fires put out, students encouraged, staff supported, communities strengthened, and moments handled before anyone even noticed. 👏 As the school year comes to a close, we wanted to pause and say thank you. Thank you for everything you carried, solved, protected, celebrated, and made possible this year. This one’s for you: School Leader Wrapped: End-of-Year Edition. 🎓✨

  • What an incredible week at #NCSC26 in New Orleans! A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Vertex Education booth to connect with our team and share ideas. We always appreciate the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with so many passionate leaders. We're also incredibly grateful to everyone who attended our session, "The Ultimate Guide to Charter School Financial Success." The session was standing room only, and the engagement, thoughtful questions, and conversations that followed made it one of the highlights of the conference! If we didn't get a chance to meet in New Orleans, there's still time to connect! Learn more about how Vertex Education helps charter schools achieve lasting financial and operational success, and request your free assessments here: https://lnkd.in/eAjDEpcJ Thank you to the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools for hosting another outstanding event and bringing together a community committed to expanding opportunities for students. Until next year!

  • Last week Vertex Education welcomed more than 300 team members from across the country to Scottsdale, Arizona, for our inaugural Vertex Summit, a milestone event centered on connection, collaboration, and innovation. The Summit reinforced our favorite part of working here: a shared commitment to changing lives through education. 🎤 Our keynote speakers challenged us to think differently about leadership and innovation. Steven Epstein, founder of Momentum is Balance and former CEO of KIPP Austin Public Schools, shared insights on leading with purpose, building strong organizational cultures, and creating sustainable momentum. Dennis Henderson, Executive Director of Manchester Youth Development Center, inspired attendees to use their own stories as a catalyst for bold thinking, meaningful partnerships, and innovation that drives lasting change. 💡Throughout the Summit, breakout sessions led by Vertex leaders provided opportunities to share expertise, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. Every session reflected the incredible talent and passion that exists across our organization. Our colleagues presented more than 40 breakout sessions across multiple areas of expertise, ranging from funding equity to presentation design to the art of leadership. 🤖 One of the most anticipated experiences of the week was the AI Innovation Lab, where cross-functional teams came together to explore new ideas and develop solutions that can improve workflows and enhance experiences across Vertex. The creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking on display demonstrated how AI can help us work smarter while creating even greater impact for the students, schools, and communities we serve. 🏆 We also celebrated the people who exemplify our values during our annual awards ceremony, recognizing MVPs from every team and honoring our Patrick Grady Leader of the Year award recipient. Congratulations to all of this year's winners for the impact they make every day! We're filled with gratitude for everyone who helped make this inaugural event so incredible. The connections and ideas sparked over these three days will continue to shape the future of Vertex Education. Thank you to every team member who made the first Vertex Summit an unforgettable experience - we're already looking forward to the next one!

This National Charter Schools Week, we’re proud to celebrate the leadership of one of our school partners, Rhonda Deomampo, CEO and Superintendent of Synergy Academies. In a recent CharterFolk feature, Rhonda shares the story of finding her place in education and helping lead Synergy Academies with the same spirit that inspired its name: collaboration, shared purpose, and a belief that the challenges facing education require all of us working together. We’re honored to support schools like Synergy and leaders like Rhonda, whose work reflects the heart of the charter school movement: expanding opportunity, building community, and helping students see more possibilities for their futures.
