Die diesjährigen MD DevDays sind vorbei — die größten aller Zeiten, mit über 900 Teilnehmer:innen über drei Tage. Inhaltlich gab es viele spannende Vorträge, wenig überraschend mit einer ganzen Menge KI dabei. Die Organisation war wieder einmal ganz hervorragend — 900 Leute in unter zwanzig Minuten satt zu bekommen ist allein schon eine Leistung. Und vielleicht das schönste an dieser Konferenz sind die Teilnehmer:innen selbst: Leute, die Verantwortung für den Gesamtablauf übernehmen, auch mal fremden Müll vom Boden aufheben und überhaupt zu der familiären Atmosphäre beitragen, die diese Konferenz auszeichnet. Heute ist der letzte Tag der Magdeburger Developer Days, und ich sitze mittlerweile zum vierten Mal in Folge hier und halte einen Vortrag. Was mich dieses Jahr besonders beeindruckt: die DevDays sind so groß wie nie zuvor – über 900 BesucherInnen – und die Organisation klappt nach wie vor reibungslos. Das ist alles andere als selbstverständlich. Und zudem ist es mittlerweile (trotz 900 Leuten) wirklich familiär und angenehm. In wenigen Wochen erreicht The Agile Embedded Podcast seine hundertste Folge — ein Projekt, das Luca Ingianni und sein Co-Host Jeff Gable vor knapp vier Jahren aufs Geratewohl gestartet haben. Gestern wurde Folge 97 aufgezeichnet (mit Paul Butcher von AdaCore). Drei weitere Aufnahmen trennen die beiden noch von der 100, und Luca steckt gerade mitten in den Überlegungen, was diese Folge inhaltlich tragen soll. Für uns bei vempio ist der Podcast mehr als ein Nebenprodukt: er ist eine der konstantesten Quellen für Einsichten, die sich später in Beratungs- und Trainingsarbeit übersetzen lassen — und ein gutes Beispiel dafür, daß sich kontinuierliche fachliche Auseinandersetzung über Jahre hinweg tatsächlich bemerkbar macht.
