An honor celebrating artistry with our amazing partners at Chartmetric for New York Music Month! Check out the recap ⬇️
During New York Music Month, Chartmetric and UnitedMasters partnered with the NYC Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment for an evening exploring The Convergence of Artist Development and the NYC Ecosystem. Hosted at the UnitedMasters headquarters, the event welcomed a packed room of music and tech professionals, artists, managers, and industry leaders, bringing together a full house of RSVPs for an evening of conversation, insight, and connection. The program opened with a presentation from Chartmetric President Andreas Katsambas, who shared data-driven insights into New York City's evolving music landscape: from rising artists and emerging genres to live music trends and the city's growing impact on the global music industry. The conversation continued with a panel featuring Allison Cane and Alyssa Castiglia of UnitedMasters alongside Emad Khatab and Skylar Demers of Chartmetric, moderated by Matt Ostrower. Together, the panel explored how data, technology, and New York City's unique creative ecosystem are shaping the future of artist development and helping music professionals make more informed decisions. The evening concluded with a networking mixer, giving attendees the opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen relationships across New York's vibrant music community. A special thank you to Shira Gans, MPP for founding New York Music Month and helping make this partnership possible, and to everyone who helped bring the event to life, including Lola Williams, Jamie Aronson, Ariana Reyes, Jason Moon, Serafina Cartelli, and DJ Donté Buchanan. And thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening such a success.
