Updates

  • Ultra Tech's induction-bent pipe retains the same tapered wall hardness profile that makes UT600 perform in extreme wear applications: a hard inner wall for abrasion resistance and a more ductile, outer wall for strength. Induction bending requires precise control of temperature, bending speed, and water quenching to achieve consistent results and maximum service life. • Ultra Tech’s UT600 Threaded Pipe System is engineered for borehole and vertical applications where speed, durability, and reliability matter. With machined threaded connections and smooth internal transitions, it installs in a fraction of the time compared to welded pipe while delivering exceptional abrasion resistance. • Check out the new pipe grooving machine we installed earlier this year. This machine from RMT uses a FANUC CNC control system, carbide cutting inserts , and some custom in-house tooling to machine square-cut grooves and other pipe end treatments. Thanks to David Resch and Eric Veldboom for their time and knowledge to program and prep this new addition to our tool box. With this tool in our Port Washington facility, we can reduce lead times and provide our customers with additional options.

  • Ultra Tech Pipe bends are produced using an induction bending method. The pipe wall is hardened and bent during a single process. Wall thinning, inconsistent ovality and cross-sectional deformation common in cold bending processes are all avoided. The precise control of the quenching process creates the ideal tapered hardness profile that makes our Ultra 600 piping systems perfect for abrasive material conveyance.
