We are a Not-For-Profit & the only UK Government Endorsed Quality Scheme for work carried out in or around the home.

About us

TrustMark was established in 2005 in conjunction with Government, industry bodies and consumer protection groups. Since this time, in response to the industry-led, Government-commissioned Each Home Counts (EHC) review, the TrustMark remit has expanded to include all Repair, Maintenance and Improvement (RMI), Energy Efficiency and Retrofit measures, providing a level playing field of quality for consumers having work carried out in or around their home. TrustMark operates within a Master Licence Agreement issued by the Government’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). TrustMark is a not-for-profit organisation that takes pride in continually investing in the scheme, supporting Scheme Providers and Registered Businesses to improve consumer protection and standards across all sectors. When a consumer uses a TrustMark Registered Business, they are engaging an organisation that has been vetted to meet required standards, and has made a commitment to good customer service, technical competence, and trading practices. TrustMark works with a network of scheme providers to ensure Registered Businesses adhere to and maintain these standards. To ensure a high quality of workmanship and trading practices TrustMark runs a programme of desktop and on-site inspections to inform our work with schemes.

A fantastic afternoon in the sunshine celebrating 10 successful years of the Healthy Homes and Buildings APPG! Joined by 150 of our supporters from housing, retrofit, public health, academia, policy and the built environment, we marked our 10 year anniversary with a special Parliamentary Reception to reflect on the past decade of championing holistic approaches to our homes and buildings across the UK. We also launched our exclusive ‘Why Healthy Homes and Buildings Matter’ Story Book, featuring stories from ministers, parliamentarians and political leaders on the impact poor quality homes and buildings have on physical and mental health and wellbeing, educational attainment, ability to work and life chances. Read it here: https://lnkd.in/ehEWnJuk We also heard some fantastic speeches of support from: ➡️ Gideon Amos OBE MP ➡️ Margaret mullane MP  ➡️ Rt Hon Caroline Flint As we look to the next decade, we will continue to push our message to the Government, uniting all levels of authorities and parties on the need to champion health in future homes and buildings for future generations. ’Why do Healthy Homes and Buildings Matter?’: 10 Years, 10 Stories 📖 We are incredibly proud to officially launch our 10 at 10 Story Book at today’s Parliamentary Reception to celebrate 10 years of the Healthy Homes and Buildings APPG. Over the past decade, the Healthy Homes and Buildings APPG has worked hard to drive the agenda and shape the debate on what’s needed to ensure better quality homes and buildings. Whilst we have made progress, the reality in 2026 is that too many communities still face the consequences of cold, damp, poorly ventilated, and energy-inefficient housing. This special 10th Anniversary Story Book aims to unite support from across national, regional and local governments on the need to embed health and wellbeing principles in future homes and buildings for future generations. Each story highlights why this is essential to reducing costs to the NHS, boosting educational attainment, and helping communities thrive. Read the full '10 Years, 10 Stories' anniversary booklet here: https://lnkd.in/ehEWnJuk 🔗 A huge thank you to our group chair, Jim Shannon MP, and to all of our brilliant contributors; ➡️ Gideon Amos OBE MP, Vice Chair of the Healthy Homes and Buildings APPG ➡️ Rt Hon Sir James Cleverly TD VR MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government  ➡️ Mayor Paul Dennett, City Mayor of Salford and Deputy Mayor of Greater Manchester ➡️ Rt Hon Caroline Flint, Chair of the Committee on Fuel Poverty (CFP) ➡️ Hannah Spencer MP, Green Party Spokesperson for Housing, Communities and Local Government  ➡️ Helen Godwin Mayor of the West of England ➡️ Martin McCluskey MP, Minister for Energy Consumers, Department for Energy Security and Net Zero ➡️ Margaret Mullane MP, Chair of the Future Homes, Skills and Innovation APPG ➡️ Richard Parker, Mayor of the West Midlands ➡️ Jo Platt MP, Chair of the Greater Manchester APPG Gill Morris | Jade Lewis | VELUX | BRE | HousingAI | Healthy Homes Hub | TrustMark | BEAMA | BESA Group | Soltherm External Insulations | Cotality | Fortum | The Lighting Industry Association (The LIA) | RGBY.ai | Warmworks | YES Energy Solutions | Elmhurst Energy |
