🐷🎉 Hungry Hungry Hippos was a HUGE hit at both our Coventry and Commonwealth Pathways locations! Every classroom brought the energy, teamwork, and school spirit, repping their classroom colors with pride. Shoutout to Room 1 staff at Coventry for rocking their Zion shirts in style! Coventry Room 4 powered through to win the Tug-of-War Challenge, and Jeff from Room 5 fearlessly took on three staff members in an epic showdown. 🎤 Meet Patrick! For more than 17 years, Patrick has been part of Trudeau Center's Shared Living program, and for nearly 20 years he has been doing what he loves most: making people laugh. This 47-year-old comedian got his start at a weeklong Comedy Boot Camp, where he learned to write jokes and perform, and he has been chasing the spotlight ever since. Today Patrick takes the stage every other week at Pub on Park in Cranston, where his stories and quick wit keep audiences coming back. Along the way he has built real friendships in the local comedy scene and found a community that shares his passion. With support from Trudeau, Patrick continues doing what he does best, one punchline at a time. 😂 Looking for a night of laughs? Come catch one of his shows! 🎉 Gold medal moment! Six members of our Trudeau Tigers traveled to Minnesota this past week to compete at the 2026 USA Games as part of the Team RI Unified Softball Team, and they came home champions. 🏆 After a year of training many hours a week, athletes Cory, Andrew, and Deavon, unified partner Erick, and coaches Jen and Steve showed exactly what heart and hard work look like. When Team RI lost their pitcher to injury in the semifinals, Cory's positivity helped rally the team to an extra-innings win over Arkansas and a spot in the Gold Medal Game. They came out swinging, building a double-digit lead behind strong defense, smart hitting, and heads-up base running. When a second pitcher went down, Erick stepped up on the mound and closed it out with three quick outs to seal the Gold. Congratulations, Tigers.
