In Seattle, King County Sheriff's Office Air Support Unit and Spokane Regional Air Support Unit worked together in the air throughout the tournament, providing command, surveillance, and tactical support — watching over stadium crowds and transit routes, and feeding live video straight to emergency operations centres. Major events demand more than aircraft overhead. They require trusted technology, coordinated teams, and clear, real-time situational awareness to help keep communities safe. We’re proud that Trakka Systems technologies are helping protect and support aerial public safety operations during the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Seattle. We’re also honored to see these efforts featured in Vertical Plus' coverage of the mission. The article explores how the King County Sheriff's Office Air Support Unit and Spokane County Sheriff's Office Regional Air Support Unit worked together to provide airborne command and control, live imagery, transportation-corridor monitoring, and support for ground teams during one of the world’s largest sporting events.
