We improve daily life by helping people do their shopping with relevant content from retailers and brands.

About us

Tjek (pronounced check) is a team of 45+ people with one mission: helping people do their shopping and businesses reach them with relevant content. We're most known for our popular shopping apps (eTilbudsavis, eReklamblad, Mattilbud, Matpris) that help 1.9+ million people in Scandinavia do their shopping. Those apps create a lot of data. That's why we created Insights to help retailers and brands make better decisions. How catalogs are produced is undergoing a large digital transformation. More retailers stop using the traditional PDF in favor of more digital solutions. We've invented a new format for digital catalogs, called Incito, that can create inspiring digital catalogs automatically using a feed.

Are you missing out on the Nordic cross-border summer traffic? 🚗🇸🇪🇳🇴🇩🇰 Thousands of Danes, Swedes, and Norwegians cross borders for their holidays, and they often lose track of where to shop once they are in a different country. This is where our platforms (eTilbudsavis, eReklamblad, and Mattilbud) step in. They all automatically update based on location. For example, if a Danish traveler arrives in Stockholm, their eTilbudsavis app will instantly switch to show local Swedish deals and store locations. This ensures that your digital catalogs remain highly relevant to the people physically near your stores, regardless of their country of origin. It bridges the gap between regional travelers and local stores when purchasing intent is at its highest.

There's a World Cup going on, so naturally Snickers is running a campaign in eTilbudsavis 🍫 We're happy they picked us as one of the platforms to keep them top of mind when Danes are looking for snacks. Grab a Snickers and enjoy the games! ⚽

Grocery retailers aren’t just competing for loyal customers. They’re also competing for every basket 🛒 According to NielsenIQ, 40% of people in Norway change stores based on where they can find a good offer. At the same time, 25% of all grocery revenue comes from campaign products. That says something important about how people shop nowadays. Being visible in places where planning happens is crucial if you want to be part of someone’s next shopping trip.

More than one in five people visit a border shop after seeing its catalog in our apps. That's the kind of reach we're glad to bring to ICA Supermarket in Charlottenberg, who just joined Mattilbud and eTilbudsavis/eReklamblad 🇳🇴 🇸🇪 When it comes to cross-border shopping behaviour, Norwegian people use Mattilbud and eTilbudsavis/eReklamblad to compare Swedish prices with the ones back home. We reach around one million people in Norway every month, so ICA's deals will connect with a lot of people heading to shop in Sweden. A big thank you to Victor Andersson from ICA Supermarket in Charlottenberg!

Getting people to do their Midsummer shopping at your store starts days before the actual store visit 🌼📊 Stores get packed and people have a lot of shopping to do leading up to Midsummer celebrations, so they have to plan early. People are splitting up lists and comparing local prices, and we see a significant portion of this high-intent planning happening in eReklamblad days in advance. For retailers and brands, this means that the battle for the seasonal basket is won during the digital planning phase, not at the shelf alone. Timing your campaigns to hit when these lists are being made is what ultimately drives foot traffic to your stores. Wishing all our retail partners a successful Midsummer!

A behind the scenes of Tjek's summer party 2026! We laughed on cue with an actual laughing coach (harder than it sounds), sat down for dinner at Villa Copenhagen, and ran a Finnish music quiz to celebrate eTarjouslehdet launching in Finland. The Finnish lyrics humbled a few of us. Thank you to our partners Posten Bring AS and CatMan Solution, our party committee for arranging a fantastic night, as well as the whole Tjek team for a great first half of 2026 🖤 Wishing everyone a great summer!

Denmark may not have made it to the World Cup this year, but thankfully Norway and Sweden made the cut ⚽ 🇸🇪 🇳🇴 We can definitely see the "World Cup mania" taking over in eTilbudsavis, eReklamblad and Mattilbud, and we love it. Retailers are super creative with their themes and campaigns to help everyone get ready for the games. It's especially great to see the energy from Norway, returning to the tournament for the first time in nearly twenty-eight years!

Do digital catalogs actually drive foot traffic to DIY and home improvement stores? We set out to find the answer in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. We asked the people using our apps if reading the DIY catalogs resulted in a physical store visit. 👉 It turns out that almost 30% of people visit the store after reading catalogs from the DIY category on eTilbudsavis/eReklamblad. Our survey also highlights that people in Sweden are even quicker to make that trip to the store, meaning that they are highly receptive to digital catalogs.
