This weekend, we celebrate 250 years of the United States of America—a milestone that reminds us of the vision, sacrifice, and determination that built this great nation. It’s a time to reflect on the foundation our Founding Fathers laid and the enduring values that have created opportunities for generations of Americans. Faith. Family. Hard work. Personal responsibility. Innovation. Investment. Prosperity. The American dream has never been about guarantees—it has always been about opportunity. The freedom to work hard, build something meaningful, provide for our families, and leave a better future for those who follow. As we celebrate this historic anniversary, let’s honor those who came before us by continuing to live out the principles that have made our nation strong. May we never take our freedoms for granted, and may we continue building a future worthy of the generations to come. Happy 250th Anniversary, America. 🇺🇸 God bless the USA.

Celebrating Danny Ortiz: 28 Years of Dedication at Ceres Environmental & The Ground Up! This is the story of Danny Ortiz — a true example of hard work, resilience, and passion for environmental recovery. Danny joined the company in 1998, right after Hurricane Georges devastated Puerto Rico. He began his journey recycling the storm’s debris on agricultural land, turning organic materials into valuable resources to support sugar cane farming and help the community rebuild. Just one year later, out of a group of 50 operators, Danny was selected as the only operator to travel to Oklahoma to assist with the massive cleanup and recycling efforts following a powerful Category 5 tornado. He later continued his impactful work in Minnesota, helping recover a mulch plant after a major fire — recycling enormous amounts of ash and restoring operations. Over the past 28 years, Danny has contributed to numerous construction and recycling projects focused on hurricane and tornado recovery across the country. He has also worked on a worm farm in California, producing high-quality compost from organic waste — always finding ways to turn challenges into sustainable solutions. Danny’s journey is a powerful testament to commitment, expertise, and the spirit of environmental stewardship. Thank you, Danny, for 28 incredible years of making a difference! Here’s to many more years of building a cleaner, stronger future together. #CeresEnvironmental #TheGroundUp #employeeanniversary

🚚 The Ground Up Brittmoore is Moving (Winter26/27) — Bigger, Better, and Built for the Future! Big news! The Ground Up is moving our Brittmoore location from 1261 Brittmoore Road to 1967 Bingle Road in Winter 2026/2027. If you’ve noticed the “For Sale” signs out front, you’re seeing a plan we’ve been working on for months. While today’s announcement may be a little earlier than expected, we’re excited to share what’s ahead. Our new location will feature a larger footprint, expanded warehouse space, more bulk materials, an enhanced product selection, and a customer-friendly layout designed to better serve you. Most importantly, this transition will happen gradually, and we expect to have the new site fully operational before Spring 2027 with no interruption to customer service. Stay tuned for updates—we can’t wait to welcome you to our new home!
