When the fund administration market consolidates, who gets left behind? Scale and tech stacks matter, but massive provider mergers shouldn't jeopardise relationship continuity. As the playbook gets rewritten, GPs are noticing that service quality and a deep understanding of their unique operating model are what keep the wheels turning. For the Fund Admin Report 2026, Simon Riley at Saltgate breaks down how changing market dynamics are completely reshaping provider selection, and what managers must prioritise to protect their operations. 🔗 Read the full article here: https://bit.ly/3R3XZXn 🔗 Download the full report: https://bit.ly/4fobxES #privateequity #privatemarkets #fundadministration #operatingmodel #sponsored

KBRA is featured in The Drawdown discussing how net asset value (NAV) loans are becoming an increasingly important financing tool across private markets. NAV loans are secured by the value of a private investment fund’s underlying portfolio and are increasingly being used to support liquidity management, refinancing, and value creation. Drawing on KBRA’s recent research, the article highlights that KBRA rated a record 38 NAV loan transactions totaling $23 billion in 2025, up from 21 transactions totaling $7 billion in 2024. The article also notes that issuance remained active through the first half of 2026 as fund managers continued to use NAV financing to support liquidity management, refinancing, and value creation amid a challenging private equity exit environment. The article further highlights the continued strength of secondaries NAV transactions, which represented the largest share of KBRA-rated issuance in 2025. Despite the market’s continued expansion, KBRA’s analysis indicates that ratings performance has remained resilient, with 86% of secondaries NAV loan transactions issued in 2025 rated A- or higher. Investor demand for greater flexibility, new liquidity solutions and broader access is reshaping how fund managers think about structure. Traditional, siloed fund designs are giving way to hybrid vehicles, evergreen structures and dynamic capital allocation models. And the secondaries market? It's no longer a niche liquidity mechanism. Over the past decade, it has grown into a core pillar of the private markets ecosystem – and shows no signs of slowing down. Featured in The Drawdown’s Fund Admin special issue, Claudia Bertolino, Head of Private Market Services, Citco Fund Services, discusses what is driving this structural shift and what it means for the market.
