When Aya House received one of six $20,000 community regrants from Black Tech Saturdays , the vision was clear. MFCF Founder and Aya House co-founder TeQuion designed a Digital Lab program that didn’t just open doors, it built pathways. In just 12 months, Aya House has grown into a hub where Detroiters access tech workshops, nonprofit trainings, and community gatherings that strengthen the city’s social safety net. Every program has demonstrated the power of combining investment with leadership. On August 28, the Digital Lab Orientation launched with powerful results: 📊 100% of participants satisfied and recommending 👩🏽💻 Ages 16–56 learning side by side 🎮 From IT Jeopardy to the Unicorn Tech Pitch Challenge, training became transformation 💻 With CompTIA A+ certification underway, Detroiters are preparing for high-demand tech careers This is what happens when infrastructure meets innovation.
