The recognition came from a highly competitive field of more than 400 submissions across 40 countries. Among just 59 outstanding use cases in the 2026 AI Playbook, it is the only project dedicated to preserving and interpreting ancient scripts, proof that AI's impact reaches as far back as it does forward.

    What started as a language requirement became a lifelong pursuit.   Aaron Bresler fell in love with Chinese language and culture, lived in China for four years, and deliberately sought out cities where people like him were rare. That curiosity is now at the core of his work at Tencent, where he bridges Chinese and English communication across global markets.   The role is less about converting words and more about navigating layers of meaning. Aaron's job is to understand those layers and carry them across, faithfully, deliberately, and clearly.    After 15 years of studying the language and culture, he's still learning new things every day. Built on a Mixture-of-Experts architecture with 295 billion total parameters and 21 billion active parameters, Hy3 delivers flagship-level intelligence comparable to LLMs several times its size, while achieving significant improvements in stability and cost efficiency.
