A really fun day filming with the team from Southpoint Films for one of my favourite tech partners, Telleroo ❤️ It was a great opportunity to share a little of the Perky Blenders story and reflect on our journey with Telleroo. It's been brilliant watching them grow alongside us over the years. From making supplier payments simpler, reducing risk of error and continually rolling out thoughtful new features to help us, they've become a partner we genuinely enjoy working with. I always look forward to seeing what's next. As always, these moments are only possible because of the incredible team behind the scenes. A huge thank you to Marta Stolarczyk who spent the day producing countless perfectly on-point flat whites and lattes so we could capture every shot we needed. We are looking forward to seeing the finished film! While this has been going on the second day of #Xerocon was happening. I spotted this lovely picture of Charlotte Russell, who was flying the Telleroo flag at Xerocon, while we were just across the way serving coffee in the Cash Flow Café. Talking of Xerocon… a huge well done to Calum Hunt and Husain Abdeali for organising and delivering an incredible Perky Blenders show. Pulling off an event of that scale takes so much planning, teamwork and dedication, and from everything I've seen, they absolutely nailed it. Massive credit as well to our brilliant baristas, Sam and Lauren, who kept the coffee flowing all day and represented Perky so brilliantly. I've seen the photos of the queues... just wow! 🤯 Finally, a big thank you to Xero for inviting us to be part of the Cash Flow Café and back to #Xerocon for the 2nd time. We genuinely value being involved in such a fantastic event that brings together ambitious businesses, great conversations and an amazing community. One pic I couldn't help but share (it’s in the comments) was from our absolutely amazing bookkeeper Rachel East-Harland of THRIVE ACCOUNTANTS LLP who sent me a pic of her Iced Americano on our slack chat, really made my day yesterday.

Today our office looked a little different... 🎥 Cameras. Lights. Microphones. 🎤 And a lot of trying to remember how to speak naturally when somebody points a camera at you. We spent the day filming with the team at Telleroo, talking about Streets (Bristol), ViFi | Virtual Finance Team for UK SMEs, and a question we get asked all the time: "What exactly do you do?" The answer is usually much bigger than people expect. Many people assume accountants produce a set of accounts once a year and maybe submit a tax return. For many of our clients, we're effectively their entire finance department. We manage the day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, supplier relationships, management reporting, cashflow forecasting, finance management, and strategic financial support. We even process supplier payments and wages on behalf of clients, using tools like Telleroo to make the process secure, efficient and controlled. In short, we help business owners remove the headache of running a finance function, without the cost and complexity of building one in-house. It was great to spend the day explaining how that works in practice and showcasing the people, processes and technology behind what we do.
