As AI adoption accelerates, the conversation is shifting from models to capabilities. Who controls the infrastructure? Where is data processed? How do we combine innovation, security and resilience? For Sweden and Europe, digital sovereignty is increasingly becoming a competitiveness issue. Building sovereign AI requires more than technology. It requires collaboration between academia, industry and the public sector. We’re focusing on services based on large language models and pioneering KTH software, and which can address the rapidly evolving technology needs of Swedish businesses and organizations. Our partnership is based on Telia’s and Brookfield’s previously announced AI collaboration and leverages KTH’s position at the center of Sweden’s renowned innovation ecosystem.
