Strategic momentum in a challenging quarter The second quarter was marked by a demanding market environment. At the same time, we made important strategic progress, strengthening our Nordic position, expanding our broadband footprint and securing important contracts within defence and mission-critical communications. “2026 is a transition year for Telenor on several fronts as we deliver on our strategy. While the quarter was affected by several short-term factors, we are executing initiatives that will improve efficiency, strengthen customer value and increase returns over time,” says Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer, President & CEO. Second quarter highlights: ✅ Service revenues of NOK 14.679 billion ✅ Adjusted EBITDA of NOK 7.987 billion ✅ Free cash flow before M&A of NOK 1.815 billion ✅ Total free cash flow of NOK 2.0 billion During the quarter, we strengthened our Nordic broadband position through the acquisitions of Enivest and Bahnhof, and the approval of the GlobalConnect consumer transaction. We also strengthened our position within defence and mission-critical communications through important wins in Finland, the UK and Norway, while continuing to develop secure and resilient communication services for customers across both the public and private sectors. At the same time, we continued our transformation journey as we build a more focused, efficient and customer-centric Telenor. 👉 Read more about our Q2 results here: https://lnkd.in/e5fNHpEA 📺 Follow the live stream from 09:30 CEST here: https://lnkd.in/ejNqMR9s

Today, we are proud to announce an important step for Telenor in Sweden 🇸🇪 Telenor has agreed to acquire a controlling stake in Swedish broadband provider Bahnhof in a transaction valuing the company at SEK 6.1 billion on an enterprise value basis. The acquisition will make Telenor Sweden’s second-largest fixed broadband provider. Bahnhof has built a strong business serving more than 500,000 consumer customers and approximately 15,000 enterprise customers. The company combines a trusted brand, strong network assets and a clear position in the Swedish market. “Sweden is the largest Nordic market by population and a key strategic priority for us. This transaction gives us the breadth and scale to compete more effectively and create long-term value for customers and shareholders,” says Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer, President and CEO of Telenor Group. Together, we will be better positioned to deliver competitive and relevant services to customers across Sweden and further strengthen Telenor’s Nordic presence. 💙 📰 Read the full announcement here: https://lnkd.in/ePGim2Vm

Proud to receive the Mobile Ecosystem Forum’s 2026 ESG Award – together with Grameenphone Ltd and in strong partnership with UNICEF Bangladesh and UNICEF Norge 🙌   Yes, here’s a classic “leaders holding an award” photo of Maria Greenberg Bergheim and Yasir Azman 🥳 But behind it is a story of long‑term collaboration in Bangladesh – reaching millions of children and families with the skills they need to connect, navigate and benefit from the digital world.   Access to connectivity and digital skills is access to opportunity. Delivering that at scale requires strong partnerships 💙

We are incredibly proud of our very own Muhammad Fasih ul Saleh, who recently turned a distant dream into reality by completing all the Abbott World Marathon Majors, finishing the @Boston Marathon with a personal best 🏅. This achievement makes him the first Nordic citizen of South Asian descent to earn the coveted “World Seven Stars Marathoner” title! At Telenor, our people are our inspiration. We celebrate his dedication, perseverance and the support he found from family and colleagues along the way. Congratulations on this amazing milestone and thank you for inspiring us all to dream big and never give up! 💙

Finally a World Seven Stars Marathoner First Nordic Citizen of South Asian descent Today, after crossing the Boston Marathon finish line and smashing personal best , I achieved something that once felt like a distant dream: completing the Abbott World Marathon Majors journey. Just a few years ago, life looked very different ; work, food, stress, repeat. Like many professionals, but through years of early mornings, long runs, setbacks, injuries, and small wins, I found myself standing at the Boston finish line holding the Medallion. This journey was never a solo run. I am deeply grateful to: • My wife Farhat Fasih and our son Aiden for their endless encouragement and patience • My friend and running mentor Salman Khan for a lifelong brotherly bond • My colleagues at Telenor for their flexibility and constant motivation Gard W. Krekling Moosa Babar Ya Min • Running communities in Norway and Pakistan for pushing my limits and sharing the journey This medal belongs to all of you. Now that this chapter is complete, here are a few lessons running has taught me: 1. Consistency beats motivation Motivation comes and goes. Discipline builds results. 2. Long-term thinking wins Big goals are achieved through thousands of small, repeatable actions. 3. Progress requires discomfort Growth begins where comfort ends. 4. Recovery is part of performance Rest, balance, and family matter as much as effort. 5. It’s never too late to reinvent yourself Your best chapter can start anytime. On to the next chapter 🏃♂️ Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer Torbjørn Wist Rita Skjærvik Telenor

Closer to customers. Closer to the market. Closer to what matters. Today, Telenor announces a simplified and sharpened organisational structure – designed to accelerate execution and support the long-term value creation strategy presented at our Capital Markets Day in November 2025. The four current Business Areas will be replaced by a more country-centric model. Nordic country CEOs will join Group Management directly, removing an organisational layer and ensuring that customer, market and financial perspectives are more closely reflected in decisions at Group level. This is about more than structure. It is about making Telenor faster, leaner and better positioned to deliver on our financial ambitions towards 2028 and 2030. On 18 August 2026, we will welcome an updated Group Management team. The current team remains fully in place until then. Press release available in the comments below👇

Building a stronger global IoT player🌍 Today, Telenor takes a significant step in our IoT journey. We are partnering with Verdane to establish a jointly owned 50/50 company built around Telenor Connexion/Telenor IoT – one of Europe's leading managed IoT providers, with 31 million SIMs in operation and delivery to more than 200 countries. The transaction values Telenor Connexion at SEK 7.5 billion. The IoT market is growing fast. Customers are becoming more global. The bar for scale, reliability, and delivery capability keeps rising. To lead in this environment, you need more than a strong foundation – you need the right partner and the right pace. Verdane brings capital, active ownership experience, and a strong track record in scaling industrial technology companies. Combined with Telenor's connectivity infrastructure, customer relationships, and industrial expertise, this partnership is built to compete at the highest level. Mats Lundquist continues as CEO of Telenor Connexion, ensuring continuity and momentum. Pekka Lundmark joins as Independent Chair. This transaction reflects Telenor's broader strategy: developing and scaling businesses through active partnerships – creating long-term value for our shareholders and the customers we serve. We’re looking forward to what comes next! Read more in the press release below👇
