Royal Air Maroc came to World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025 wanting more than a presence on the floor. They wanted conversations, and they wanted to show up on the world stage as the airline they've become. To help them get there, we built a brand journey designed to do both at once: turn visitors into prospects and future passengers, while giving Royal Air Maroc the presence its growing international standing deserved. The starting point wasn't the design. It was the visitor. Before a single material or graphic was chosen, we sat down and mapped out how people would actually move through the space: where they'd be arriving from, what caught their eye first, where we wanted to guide them next, and what would make someone stop walking rather than glance and carry on. Only once we understood that did the physical stand take shape. Every part of it was built around that journey, with engagement points placed at deliberate moments and the storytelling woven into the experience of moving through the space, rather than sitting on a panel somewhere waiting to be read. The result needed to do two jobs at once: spark real conversations with the right people, and signal, at a glance, an airline with genuine prestige on the global stage. That planning layer is the difference between a stand that photographs beautifully and a stand that actually performs on the day. In twenty years on show floors, it's also the piece we see far too many exhibitors skip. If there's one thing worth taking from this project, it's that your exhibition brief should start with how your visitors behave and how you want the world to see you, not with how many square metres you've booked. Want your next exhibition to work this hard for you? Get in touch with our team. Link in comments.

  • How was the exhibitor experience at your last show? Behind every successful exhibition, there is a huge amount of coordination that visitors never see. Exhibitor onboarding is one of the most demanding parts of delivering a full show, and it is also one of the areas we most enjoy at Tecna. We've worked alongside organisers including Argus Media, Informa and Madison, iceBike* to manage exhibitor communications, requirements and support from start to finish. Everything is handled in-house by our own specialist teams, which means faster responses, clearer accountability and a consistent experience for every exhibitor, whether they are a global brand or exhibiting for the first time. We believe supported exhibitors arrive more prepared, prepared exhibitors create better stands, and better stands make for better events all round. That thinking sits behind everything we do on full show delivery, and it is why organisers come to us as a partner rather than just a supplier. We have written more about how we approach exhibitor onboarding and what makes our in-house model different. Link in the comments. If you organise exhibitions or conferences, we would genuinely love to hear how you currently handle exhibitor onboarding and where the pressure points tend to build. Share your experience below, we read every comment and always enjoy comparing notes. #ExhibitionIndustry #EventProfs #ExhibitorExperience #PushThePossible

  • It's never really about the product. This feels counterintuitive, but come with us to explore further…. Think about the retail experiences that have stuck with you over the years. Odds are it wasn't JUST what was on the shelf. It was how the whole space made you feel, and how little effort it took to find what you needed, the interaction. Exhibitions work the same way. When you actually understand what's going on in your visitors' heads, the stand stops being a display of items you want to sell and starts being an environment where people interested in your product want to spend time and can really learn more about what you're offering to them. A team that's enjoying itself has better conversations, and that's usually where the real payoff on a show comes from, more than any single design choice. Here's what we've picked up, after a lot of time watching people move around show floors. What visitors actually want A real conversation, not a pitch. People clock a rehearsed script from three stands away, and it switches them off instantly. What they respond to is an honest exchange, and a team that clearly knows what they're talking about. What kills it stone dead Clutter and pressure, every time. Too much going on and a visitor is overwhelmed before anyone's even said hello. Push too hard for the sale and you lose their trust before you've earned an ounce of it. What sends them walking Generic interactions and long queues. Both say the same thing without meaning to: we didn't plan for you. Looking at your stand through your visitors' eyes is the thing that separates a busy stand from a genuinely brilliant one, and it's baked into how we approach every project from the first conversation. At Tecna, this is honestly what gets us out of bed. We build experiences visitors remember, and stands your team is proud to stand in. Ready to push the possible? Let's talk.

  • AI-generated tattoos. A colour-drenched suite. And over 300 reasons to stop scrolling and start talking. That's what Glean brought to life at The AI Summit London, and Tecna was the team behind it. The brief was to create genuine dwell time, and make every conversation on the stand worth having. Challenge accepted. We designed, built and installed a space that pulled guests in and made them want to stay a while. Our lead designer, Emily, had been telling the client that she wanted to build a stand in every colour Glean's brand would allow. This was the project that finally gave her the licence to do it. The result was a 120+ sqm suite anchored by 112 bespoke LED arches, washing the whole space in a moving spectrum of light, engineered to read cleanly through printed window vinyls, which is no small feat working at scale. Four demo areas, a central demo bar, an AI tattoo studio and a branded claw machine turned casual footfall into more than 300 activation interactions, and gave the sales team conversations they could actually build on afterwards. This is what happens when strategy, craft and a refusal to settle for boring come together on the show floor. This is the second edition of our AI Summit Hospitality Suite case study series, with more on the way. Follow along for what's next. Farnborough is the birthplace of British aviation, and it's where Tecna calls home too. Being based here gives us a genuine connection to the aerospace and defence industry that goes beyond a standard supplier relationship, and it means our in-house design and build facility sit minutes from Farnborough International Airshow, backed by UK manufacturing and a team that understands the standards this sector requires. For brands exhibiting at this level, your stand and exhibition space is a statement of credibility to procurement teams, partners and governments who expect precision and polish. That's why we work as a full partner rather than a contractor, taking the time to properly understand your brand, your customers and the story you need your stand to tell. Our in-house creative team spans design, technology and activations, so we can use our extensive expertise to create you an exceptional, innovative, customer experience. If you're exhibiting at International Paris Air Show, ILA Berlin - Pioneering Aerospace, DSEI Germany & DSEI UK or any other major aerospace and defence event on the horizon, now is the time to start the conversation. Early planning means bolder ideas and a stand build that plays the long game for your brand. Tecna are the responsible creators of exhibitions, events and brand experiences. We teamed up with London Sperm Bank and London Egg Bank at the 42nd Annual Meeting of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), held this year at Excel London. London Sperm Bank has a reputation built on precision, safety and getting every detail right for the families who rely on them. That same standard is what we bring to every stand we build, so the partnership was a natural fit. A custom-built counter gave the team a proper space to welcome visitors, a pink phone box finished entirely in house, and a mini version of The Shard brought an exciting and distinctly British touch to the stand. We loved delivering this brand environment with the London Sperm Bank team. Learn more about the spaces we create at Excel London and beyond. Link in comments!

  • Your exhibition stand is speaking. The question is, what is it saying? Before a single visitor reads your messaging, they've already formed an opinion. The height of your structure signals ambition. Your colour palette triggers emotion. Your layout either invites people in or keeps them at arm's length. At Tecna, we design with psychology as much as aesthetics. Here's what the research tells us: 🔵 Open, curved layouts increase dwell time by up to 30% 🟡 Elevated structures signal authority and draw the eye from across the hall 🟢 Interactive touchpoints create 47% more engagement than passive displays 🔴 Consistent brand colour use increases recognition by 80% Your stand isn't just a backdrop. It's a statement. Make it the right one. What does your current stand say about your brand? We'd love to hear — and help you say something bolder. #ExhibitionDesign #BrandStrategy #TradeShow #Tecna #PushThePossible #EventMarketing #BrandExperience

Q2 has been one of the boldest periods in Team Tecna's history, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate before you start to see our highlights of Q3.   We didn't just build exhibition stands this quarter, we ran multiple entire shows, delivered a series of stunning, branded suites, managed registration experiences, and gave both new and long-standing brands some exceptional opportunities to smash their ROI targets.   💪 Here's a look at where we Pushed the Possible in Q2.   📍 The AI Summit London, Tobacco Dock London As General Contractor and Full Show Partner, our team built over 85 exhibition stands alongside premium suites for Glean, EY, Nebius and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Shaping the visitor experience across a show this size takes serious coordination, and the results were spectacular.   📍 Argus Biomass Conference, QEII Centre Working as Full Show Partner for Argus Media, we delivered the registration experience, branded environments, pavilion spaces, networking lounges, informal meeting areas, premium hospitality and custom stage features. Another reminder that we can do a lot beyond a stand.   📍 Fire Safety Event Europe (FSE) & The Health & Safety Event, NEC - Nation’s Experience Capital When the work you do keeps people safe, the way you show up on a stand has to earn that same trust. We built stands for United Kingdom Testing and Certification, Fastenal, Anamore and Ejendals   📍 Retail Technology Show, Excel London Innovation was the order of the day, and we built stands for Epson UK & I ClarityRFID and Base.com, driving the energy of the show. ⚡   📍 Elevate – the B2B event of physical activity, ExCeL London For the tenth anniversary of Elevate, we delivered a large feature space and the biggest hanging banner we've ever produced, 19mx12m, for long-standing partner Technogym. We also built a bold stand for Primal Strength, putting their iconic green branding front and centre. 💚   📍 Octave Live OnTour, Austin Team Tecna hit the road to Texas US for the first leg of the Octave Live OnTour International Roadshow. Tecna is at every stop, with Rio, Shanghai, Singapore and Munich still to come later this year. We design and build the structures that shape the whole experience, from the meeting zones, to the entrance features and signage and the stands that bring the Octave brand to life.   📍 InstallerSHOW We were proud to continue our long-term partnerships with NIBE and Bristan Group Ltd, building bolder and more impressive stands year on year. Other highlights included a bespoke orange telephone box for new client Elyos AI produced entirely by our in-house team, and a circular design for Warmup PLC, reconfigured from last year's stand into something completely fresh. ♻️   That's the scale of Q2.   Thank you to every client, partner and member of Team Tecna who made this quarter possible. Q3 is already taking shape, and we can't wait to show you what's next.

  • Sustainability in exhibitions gets claimed a lot and proven far less often 🍃 A stand described as eco-friendly means very little unless three things are true together: it is built for reuse rather than one outing, it uses materials that carry independent certification, and its impact is measured by someone outside the company that built it. Tecna is the first UK exhibition stand builder to hold ESSA's Tier 5 Sustainability Accreditation, the highest level of sustainability recognition the industry has, and we have now held it for three consecutive years. We are also one of only twelve UK companies certified to ISO 20121, which looks at the management system behind every project rather than rating a single stand. None of that replaces good design. A high-impact stand and a low-impact stand were never in competition, and the engineering behind ours is built to prove it. We've written up what genuine sustainability looks like in practice, from material choices through to the five questions worth asking any supplier before you commission a stand. Read the full breakdown via the link in the comments, and get in touch if you would like project-specific carbon reporting for your next show. Push the Possible. Prove the Impact.
