Can daily movement transform a student's school experience? At Clover Bar Junior High in Alberta, Canada, the answer is a resounding yes. One student who previously struggled to make it through the school doors now rarely misses a day. Their story reflects the wider impact of a school-wide approach that places movement at the heart of learning. Through a Sport for Life programme, more than 300 students engage in movement-based learning every day. From swimming and mountain biking to yoga and curling, physical activity has become an integral part of the school experience - helping improve attendance, confidence, focus, and overall wellbeing. This is what happens when movement is not treated as an extra, but as a foundation for learning. 📖 Read the full story here and discover how Elk Island Public Schools is demonstrating the power of Sport for All by putting daily movement at the centre of education.: https://lnkd.in/eX7yBn3M 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙐𝘾𝘾𝙀𝙀𝘿 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙐𝘾𝘾𝙀𝙀𝘿 𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 — 𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙏𝘼𝙁𝙄𝙎𝘼 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙄𝙊𝘾 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙊𝙡𝙮𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙢365 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙮. #SUCCEEDFramework #SportForLife #PhysicalLiteracy #ActiveSchools #Education #Wellbeing #SchoolHealth #YouthDevelopment #SportForDevelopment

WELCOME TO YOUTHSPORTCV 🏃♀️➡️ Your sport story is already a CV. You just may not know it yet ! Across Europe, many young people face difficulties entering the labour market, especially those who are not in education, employment or training. At the same time, sport remains one of the most powerful non-formal learning environments for young people. YouthSportCV was created to help young people, especially those not currently in education, employment or training, recognise the skills they build through sport and turn them into real employment opportunities. Because sport is not “just sport”. It can be a first step towards confidence, visibility and a future job. Every training session, every match, every challenge, every comeback teaches something that employers value: 🤝 Teamwork 🗣️ Communication 💪 Resilience 🎯 Discipline 🧠 Problem-solving 🚀 Leadership Through the project, young people will be supported to identify their soft skills, understand their value, and connect them with organisations and employers across Europe. 🔎 What happens when sport becomes more than a game? 🥏 For Maria Vargas, Ultimate has become a tool for inclusion, empowerment, and community transformation. Working with JUF Activando Valores A.C. in Mexico, Maria uses sport to create opportunities for girls and young people while helping build safer and more inclusive sporting environments. Through her involvement as a trainer in the Girls Positive and Safe Coaching Pathway through the World Flying Disc Federation, she strengthened not only her own knowledge, but also her ability to support coaches and organisations across Latin America. 👉 Her story is a powerful reminder that meaningful change often starts with individuals who are willing to share their knowledge, challenge barriers, and create opportunities for others. The Health Promoting Sports Clubs (HPSC) project partners met in Nancy, France, from 16–18 June to review progress, coordinate upcoming activities, and continue developing the online coach education platform that will help coaches integrate health promotion into their everyday practice. 🎬 A major milestone was reached with the successful completion of the course video recordings, which will form a key part of the online learning experience. The course is expected to launch by the end of the year. The meeting also focused on refining the training materials, aligning the evaluation methodology, coordinating translations into multiple languages by the end of August, and planning dissemination activities, including the final conference in Fall 2027. 🌍 TAFISA is proud to contribute to the HPSC Project, which closely aligns with TAFISA Mission 2030 by strengthening coaches' capacity to create healthier, more inclusive, and people-centred sport environments that support active and thriving communities. This project is co-funded by Erasmus+ Sport (European Education and Culture Executive Agency – EACEA). 👉 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/etF48UhT #SportForAll #HealthPromotion #CoachEducation #SportsCoaching #TAFISA #Erasmus
