Last week, we spent an inspiring few days at MWC Barcelona and 4YFN, where we had the opportunity to meet founders, innovators, and teams from around the world showcasing truly impressive solutions. We were pleasantly surprised to even meet a fellow company in the transfer pricing space. Last week we had the pleasure of attending the Luxembourg Transfer Pricing Congress. A huge thanks to Vanesa Ramos Ferrín and the rest of the Luxembourg Transfer Pricing Association for organizing such a great event, with excellent panels and valuable networking opportunities. One of the highlights for us was the session on "Corporate Responses to TP Policy Change: Tools & Technology." The panel explored how technology is reshaping transfer pricing, and the live poll results were revealing: automation was seen as the most valuable feature of TP tools, while AI adoption remains limited, though most participants expect usage to grow in the near future. The discussion showed that while automation is already delivering value, AI in transfer pricing remains in its early days and implementation is often a point of friction. It was also clear that the level of automation varies greatly between multinationals, though there is a strong appetite for solutions that bring greater precision and consistency. At Synergen, this is exactly the problem we're working on: helping treasuries and tax teams automate cash pool transfer pricing with clarity and control, without relying on AI black boxes.
