Today marks the start of CHISEL's 40th birthday celebrations and we are also proud that our Board has signed off our ambitious 5 year Corporate Plan 'A Brighter Hope for the Future' CHISEL has an amazing heritage, with 70 self build estates and other co-operative schemes created by supporting groups of residents to realise their dream of social housing. We also have a very exciting future - we will double in size in the next five years, managing homes for new partners and expanding our successful Supported Housing (with Stonewall Housing) and our new Temporary Housing offer. We are partnering with some of the most forward-thinking housing creators in London and Brighton to kick off a new generation of community built or assembled homes.
