  • Dealmakers don't need more AI. They need AI that understands how deals get done. After speaking with investment bankers, PE professionals, and corporate development leaders at ACG DealFest Northeast, one theme kept emerging: speed matters, but trust matters more. The challenge isn't finding AI tools—it's deploying them in environments where confidentiality, governance, and client expectations are non-negotiable. That's exactly why we built DealCentre AI and Link—to help deal teams accelerate diligence and decision-making while keeping sensitive deal information within a governed environment. Thanks to ACG Boston for bringing together another outstanding group of dealmakers.

  • " [AI] allows us to search across all the knowledge gained over the 25 years we have been investing." — Giles Travers, Head of Platform Management, LGT Capital Partners In the latest Alts AI post, our Head of AI & Analytics Prakash Kanchinadam shows where AI is already paying off for GPs and LPs: turning years of approved answers into LP-ready DDQ responses, and surfacing insight buried across decades of decks and reports. The firms turning scattered data into confident decisions are the ones pulling ahead. See where AI is delivering value: https://lnkd.in/gWuyFFBS

Every seller has a compelling story. The question is: does the data support it? As deal teams evaluate more opportunities under tighter timelines, AI is helping separate signal from noise—surfacing risks, validating assumptions and enabling more confident go/no-go decisions. Jon Martin shares how leading acquirers are using AI to make faster, more informed investment decisions in the latest M&AI blog. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gF53xP4X

The most AI-fluent person in your deal room probably isn't the one in the corner office. That was a standout finding from our #DealMAX2026 conversation with Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) analysts are racing ahead with AI while many MDs and partners hold back — wary of accuracy, governance and security. Our benchmark study with Reuters Events shows both instincts are right: nearly half of dealmakers now use AI across the entire deal life cycle. About a third already see real time savings. However, 80% have run into inaccurate outputs or data-security concerns. The future of dealmaking isn't faster or slower — it's AI adopted deliberately, inside an environment built to keep deal data secure. SS&C Intralinks CMO Todd Partridge and ACG’s Carolyn Vallejo break it down: https://lnkd.in/g7Fi-5Cn

In private markets, the best-resourced firm usually had the edge. AI is closing that gap. In the final episode of The AI-Powered GP — our series with Real Deals MediaSophora Unternehmerkapital chairman Neil MacDougall explains how emerging managers are punching above their weight: drafting investment memos in minutes, mapping markets with agentic AI and smoothing the LP experience without adding headcount. As MacDougall puts it: "The drudgery that used to take several days just takes minutes now.” Watch the final episode now https://lnkd.in/gUv-tjnz

  • That's a wrap on Capital for Cures. 🎬 Over the past month, we brought together investors, founders and healthcare dealmakers across Europe for candid conversations on the financing strategies and market dynamics shaping the future of life sciences. The throughline at every stop: capital is moving toward the teams and technologies solving the hardest problems in healthcare — and the dealmakers who understand that landscape are the ones positioned to lead. Thank you to our partner Slate Mountains Capital, our speaker and everyone who joined the conversation. The dialogue doesn't end here. More recaps from Capital for Cures are on the way. • The next wave is more autonomous and workflow-driven, as AI evolves from a tool that responds to prompts to one that can coordinate, orchestrate and execute multi-step processes with minimal human intervention."— Ari Kaplan That shift — from possibility to requirement — ran through both sessions of our two-part AI Bootcamp series, hosted with Dorsey & Whitney and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman and moderated by legal analyst, Ari Kaplan. Our new mini report distills five takeaways: ◆ AI has hit a tipping point — nearly 90% of dealmakers now use it ◆ The biggest wins are practical — summaries, memos, market maps ◆ The real shift is agentic — AI that executes, not just answers ◆ Trust is the limit — generic tools create a "validation tax" ◆ Post-merger integration is the next frontier Download the report now for a deeper dive: https://lnkd.in/gtjr8qgY

  • That's a wrap on the SS&C Intralinks 5-a-Side Football World Cup. We swapped spreadsheets for football boots and brought eight teams from across the City to Powerleague Shoreditch to settle one important question: who are the best footballers in M&A? Three hours, plenty of goals, a few questionable tackles and lots of laughs later, we had our answer. Congratulations to Deutsche Bank, who went undefeated to lift the trophy and claim this year's title. A huge thank you to everyone who laced up their boots and made it such a fantastic afternoon. Until next time!

The hardest deals to execute are the ones that cross borders. When C3NTRO Telecom ran a syndicated loan spanning multiple lenders, advisors and languages, the complexity threatened to slow everything down. SS&C Intralinks DealCentre AI™ kept it moving — centralizing lender communications across markets, simplifying multilingual review and letting the team push several workstreams forward at once instead of one step at a time. The payoff: a complex cross-border deal that closed faster, stayed secure and felt a lot less complicated to manage. Read how C3ntro reduced its diligence timeline: https://lnkd.in/gVa9kxhh
