The US remains one of the world's largest aerospace, defence and space markets, but breaking into the supply chain can be challenging. That's why we are encouraging ambitious companies from across Yorkshire & Humber to consider attending the Aerospace Defense Americas 2026 event at Farnborough International Air Show. For SMEs and scale-ups this is a rare opportunity to: ✅ Meet US aerospace and defence primes ✅ Engage with procurement and supply chain decision-makers ✅ Explore investment and partnership opportunities ✅ Learn how to navigate DoD and US procurement processes ✅ Participate in pre-qualified B2B meetings designed to generate real commercial opportunities Let's showcase the innovation and capabilities of Yorkshire & Humber on the international stage, the more companies we have represented, the stronger our regional presence and opportunities for collaboration. https://lnkd.in/ehnTUPGn

Final call for applications to the UK Space Agency Accelerator 🚀 I’m lucky enough to be a mentor on this programme and have seen first-hand the ambition, ingenuity and slightly sleep-deprived brilliance of the founders involved. If you’re building something in the space sector and ready to scale, definitely worth a look. At the last workshop I attended, I must confess to struggling to know how to respond when one of the start-up founders declared that her technology allows gravity to be treated as a fully controllable variable… you certainly learn new things everyday! Anyway, applications close 17th May 👇 E-Spark (Entrepreneurial Spark) UK Space Agency
Final call for Leo applications! 🔔 If you’re a space venture with a validated solution, now focused on building commercial traction and preparing to scale, this is your moment to take the next step. There are only a few interview slots left, so apply now to be considered for the programme. Applications close on the 17th of May. Yesterday, I was part of a research and industry engagement session at the University of Sheffield alongside leading RF and defence organisations, led by Eddie Ball. It was great to see the level of innovation being driven in RF and mmWave domains, alongside participation from several high-value space, defence and technology organisations. At RFTRONICS UK Ltd, we solve complex RF challenges, and I engaged with Professor Eddie Ball and other industry experts on advanced RF concepts we are actively developing. We are now exploring opportunities for joint research activities to turn advanced RF innovation ideas into deployable, market-ready solutions. There was also strong interest from defence organisations in collaborating with RFTRONICS UK on next-generation RF system concepts and leading joint R&D initiatives. We are committed to developing high-impact space and defence technologies and translating them into commercially viable, profit-generating products that contribute positively to the UK economy. If you are working on something ambitious and are looking for a strong RF partner to lead or support joint research and development, let’s connect and build something meaningful for the UK Space and defence sector.
