Every day, Soccer Shots coaches inspire confidence, foster growth, and create lasting memories for children throughout our communities. After the tremendous enthusiasm of our first Coach of the Year celebration, we're excited to bring it back for a second year in partnership with Tree Top, Inc. This recognition celebrates the exceptional coaches whose passion, leadership, and commitment exemplify the very best of the Soccer Shots experience. Nominations for Coach of the Year were submitted by fellow coaches, Franchise Partners, and Soccer Shots families, resulting in roughly 2,000 nominations across the U.S. and Canada. Nominated coaches and their teams submitted an application and a short video showcasing their impact on the field. Our evaluations committee carefully reviewed each submission and selected finalists across five regions. A dedicated member of his team, Coach Ty is known for the extraordinary care and passion he brings to every child he coaches. Many nominations described him as someone who "eats, sleeps, and breathes Soccer Shots," but what truly sets him apart is the way he sees the potential in every child and helps them grow. Beyond the field, he supports families by connecting them with opportunities in the community, serves as a licensed U.S. Soccer coach, and even attends school performances to cheer on the children he coaches and strengthen relationships with their families. His commitment to making a lasting impact extends across the Soccer Shots community as well, where he recently joined the Curriculum & Training Committee, bringing thoughtful ideas, collaboration, and a genuine desire to help elevate coaches across the network. Last month, we were honored to recognize Ty at the 2026 Stronger Youth Brands Summit held in the Greater Washington, DC Area, where he was officially awarded the Coach of the Year title. When one of the largest sporting events is happening in your own backyard (or across the pond), it’s a great excuse to get together and celebrate! ⚽🎉 Last week, inspired by the world’s largest soccer/football tournament happening right now in North America, we hosted nearly 250 franchise partners and team members from Soccer Shots Franchising and Little Kickers Group at our first ever Stronger Youth Brands Summit in the Greater Washington, DC Area. Hosted at the The Hotel at the University of Maryland, this event truly embodied what a global impact the two brands have made across the world, inspiring children of all backgrounds through the fun of the sport and learning. This event truly showcased the beauty of different cultures and experiences coming together under one goal: providing the best experience for children in our communities. With 12 countries represented within one room, it was a beautiful example of what collaboration, storytelling, and camaraderie can be.
