Day 3 of Employee Appreciation Week (EAW) was all about showcasing who we are and wearing our pride on our sleeves—literally! Across our US sites, the theme was SMTC Colors. Our teams brought incredible energy to the workplace by rocking our signature blue and green, representing the unity and strength of our global brand. Meanwhile, at our Chihuahua site, we embraced our local roots with a vibrant Día Norteño. Our team proudly wore traditional Northern Mexican attire, bringing the rich heritage and spirit of our state straight to the factory floor. Lights, camera, appreciation! 🍿✨ Day 2 of our Employee Appreciation Week took a cinematic turn, and our team absolutely understood the assignment. The theme of the day? Movie Character or Movie Tee! 🎥🎬 From legendary silver-screen icons to favorite pop-culture graphic tees, our hallways were transformed into a living movie set. Celebrating the talent, dedication, and energy that our team brings every single day is the true driving force behind our Employee Appreciation Week across all SMTC sites. 🚀✨ This week was designed exclusively to recognize and spoil our incredible collaborators with special events, contests, giveaways, and our favorite tradition: themed dress-up days! Beyond breaking the daily routine, the real purpose of these days is to remind us that we are a dynamic, global family where every single person counts and makes a distinct difference. 🌍💡 And speaking of breaking the mold... Mismatched Day absolutely stole the show as our official kickoff theme on Monday, June 1st! 🤪👔🧦 We left the rules of fashion in the closet and brought out our most original, free, and out-of-the-box versions. Combining stripes with polka dots or wearing different colored socks wasn’t a wardrobe malfunction—it was the perfect excuse to laugh together, relieve stress, and embrace total freedom of self-expression while recharging our energy to the max! When we dare to disrupt the monotony, creativity flows and the workplace fills with amazing vibes. We are proud to announce that the funds raised from the registration fees of our team members who participated in last month’s charity race were delivered this past Wednesday, April 22nd, to 'El Bocado del Pobre' in Chihuahua, Mexico. This donation will support the purchase of food, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene items for the residents. Thank you to our running community for demonstrating that, on this team, the most important goal is helping others.

Safety as a Shared Commitment: Search & Rescue Training at Plant 1, Chihuahua, MX.🛡️ Last Wednesday, April 8, our Search and Rescue Brigade at Plant 1 completed an intensive training session led by Coessa Group. From evacuation drills to stabilization techniques and localization maneuvers, our team put their skills to the test. Beyond the technical training, the true highlight of the day was the trust and synergy built among colleagues. At SMTC, we believe that safety is a collective effort. These efforts have achieved excellence standards with zero rejects, further strengthening the trust of our global customers.
