Executive Coaching and Leadership Development for Trail Blazers, Visionaries, and Rule Breakers

About us

There’s a lot of emphasis placed on professional and personal development- and for good reason! It allows us to make changes, to be challenged, and find happiness in our careers and lives. The thing is that we get the development formula wrong. We believe that if we just do something different, we’ll get different results. As a society we’re obsessed with “doing” and so the first question people tend to ask themselves when unhappy in their job is, “what is it that I want to do?” These efforts might bring us relief for a short period of time but eventually we end up feeling the same way we did when we started. The reason for that is our thoughts about ourselves and our world create our feeling which then create our actions. If we want to create true change we can’t just skip to the last part of the equation, we must go back to the root of it all: our beliefs. The thing is that the question we should really be asking ourselves is “who is it that I want to be?” Who you are is the collection of your beliefs, values, experiences, education, etc. and when you are crystal clear on not only who you are, but who you are becoming the “what” or action comes effortlessly! Stacy uses a unique process called Energy Leadership™ which helps you develop a personally effective style of leadership that positively influences and changes not only yourself, but also those with whom you work and interact, as well as your organization as a whole. The program starts with a one of a kind assessment that measures those beliefs in the form of your attitude and perceptions about what it takes to be successful. Unlike other assessments that measure personality traits or communication styles with the intent of helping you “work with what you have” this assessment simply gives you a snapshot of where you are, shows you what’s possible, and provides a framework for you to reach that untapped potential.

Today’s the day! I’m kicking off The Clarity Webinar Series with our first session, Rethinking Control, and you can still join us at 12pm ET. This is a conversation I’ve been looking forward to because it shows up everywhere. So many of the leaders I work with care deeply about their teams and their work… and that care quietly turns into carrying more than they were ever meant to. Over time, leadership starts to feelsheavier than it should. We’ll get into what that pattern looks like in real life, and how to shift it so you’re leading in a way that creates ownership, clarity, and momentum without everything sitting on your shoulders. 🗓 TODAY, April 14 at 12pm ET 📍 Virtual (Zoom) It’s not too late to join us. I’d love to have you there! ➡️ https://lnkd.in/edxN5a6w

Leading in a mission-driven organization can feel surprisingly isolating, especially when you’re the one others rely on for clarity, direction, and support. You’re in constant conversation, but most of it is focused on solving problems and keeping things moving. There aren’t many spaces where you can pause and talk honestly about what you’re navigating in your role. I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately. I’m continuing to explore the idea of creating a small, facilitated space for senior leaders and HR leaders to come together for real conversation. Not to learn something new or sit through a presentation, but to step back, reflect, and hear how others are navigating similar challenges. The goal is simple: create space for leaders to think more clearly, with people who understand the weight of the role. This is something I see again and again in my work. Leaders don’t need more input. They need better space to process what they’re already carrying. If this sounds like something you’d value, I’d love to hear from you. No commitment, just a conversation to see what we can build... 👉 Interest Form: https://lnkd.in/ep9-86Fe

I’ve worked with enough mission-driven leaders to know that chaos doesn’t always look like a crisis. More often, it looks like a full calendar, a committed team, and a quiet sense that despite all the effort, nothing is really moving. Most leaders assume this is a strategy problem. Sometimes it is. But more often, it’s something else: they’re carrying too much. When clarity is missing, leaders step in. They answer questions, make decisions, and hold pieces that were never meant to sit with one person. Not because they have to, but because they care. Over time, everything starts to run through them. Ownership gets blurry, progress slows, and accountability begins to feel heavier than it should. That’s where burnout actually starts… not from doing too much, but from holding too much. In my latest blog post, I unpack why this pattern shows up and what shifts when leaders stop carrying what isn’t theirs. If your team feels busy but stuck, this will likely feel familiar. Burnout isn’t the problem. It’s the result. Unclear control. Mismanaged demands. Lack of alignment. My 3-part Clarity Webinar Series will help leaders shift how they think and lead so performance becomes more sustainable. We’re starting with Rethinking Control. Most leaders don’t struggle because they lack control. They’re focused on the wrong things. Taking responsibility for team motivation, peer alignment, and outcomes outside their control creates pressure and a constant feeling of carrying too much. This session focuses on clarifying what’s actually yours to own. Participants will learn how to: ✔️ Identify what is theirs to own and what isn’t ✔️ Recognize where they may be over-functioning ✔️ Focus on actions that create real impact ✔️ Reduce the emotional load of leadership without lowering standards Who this is for: Leaders, HR partners, and people managers in mission-driven organizations who want to protect their people and the mission by leading differently. When: April 14 @ 12pm ET Where: Virtually via Zoom Register now for this first session of the Clarity Webinar Series: https://lnkd.in/edxN5a6w

  • Next week, we’ll talk about burnout differently. Burnout isn’t a dedication problem. It’s a depletion problem, and it shows up when overextension is quietly rewarded and boundaries exist mostly on paper. In this 1-hour interactive webinar, we’ll cut through surface-level wellness talk and focus on what burnout actually signals and how to prevent it before it takes hold. We’ll look at early warning signs, drivers and drainers, and leadership norms that support commitment without requiring self-sacrifice. 🗓 February 25 @ 12pm ET 📍 Zoom via Calendar Invite For leaders, HR partners, and people managers in mission-driven organizations who want to protect their people and the mission. • Burnout isn’t a sign of dedication; it’s an indication of depletion. Moreso, it’s the result of systems that quietly reward overextension and only enforce boundaries on paper. In this 1-hr interactive webinar, we’ll explore what burnout actually signals—and how to prevent it before it takes hold. Grounded in a more human way to lead, this session helps leaders move beyond surface-level wellness tactics and toward practical, sustainable prevention. Participants will learn how to: ✔️ Recognize early emotional and behavioral signs of burnout ✔️ Identify the drivers that energize people and the drainers that quietly deplete them ✔️ Use drivers and drainers to build clearer boundaries and measures for burnout prevention ✔️ Model leadership norms that support commitment without requiring self-sacrifice Who this is for: Leaders, HR partners, and people managers in mission-driven organizations who want to protect their people—and the mission—by leading differently. • Leading in a mission-driven organization can be isolating. This is especially true for senior and HR leaders, the people responsible for supporting and enabling everyone else. But where do you go when you need support? We're exploring the idea of a small, facilitated peer forum where we can step out of problem-solving mode and into real conversation about the challenges leaders are actually facing. This wouldn't be training or presentations. It would be dialogue guided by Stacy Campesi and focused on reflection, shared insight, and genuine connection. A space designed for leaders who want a more human way to lead, without carrying everything alone. This might be for you if you're: ✔️A senior or HR leader in a mission-driven org ✔️ Someone who supports, enables, and influences other leaders ✔️ Looking for space to think out loud, reflect, and learn from peers Interested? Let us know: comment below, send a DM, or drop me an email. No commitment, just a conversation about whether this could be valuable for you 👉 Stacy@slccoaching.net #SLCCoaching #LeadLikeACoach #EmpoweredLeadership

  • Most mission-driven leaders don’t struggle because they don’t care enough. If anything, it’s the opposite. They step in. They fix. They carry what no one else will. Over time, leadership quietly turns into emotional triage. In this blog post, Stacy explores how coaching-centered leadership offers a more human and sustainable alternative. It is grounded in trust, clarity, and real ownership. It’s a shift from managing every problem to making space for meaningful growth. From doing it all to doing it differently: https://lnkd.in/erWEnfah 📬 Want more like this? Get the SLC newsletter in your inbox every other Tuesday: https://lnkd.in/e95gNqCb

  • Happening tomorrow! We’ll talk about what it looks like to bring a coaching mindset into your everyday leadership, and why that small shift can change everything. Coaching skills like deep listening, powerful questions, and trust-building aren’t just nice-to-haves. They’re what help you step out of doing it all, and start leading in a way that truly supports your people and your mission. • “Festive” doesn’t cancel out “frazzled.” The end of the year brings a mix of energy. There are celebrations, calendar wrap-ups, and a push to finish strong. But for our friends in mission-driven or nonprofit leadership, it’s often more emotionally complex than it looks from the outside. You might find yourself managing tension, holding space for a team that’s running low, and trying to stay present while everything around you speeds up. The pressure to be productive doesn’t pause for feelings. But the feelings don’t go anywhere, either. This is why emotional intelligence isn’t a bonus skill. It’s foundational, because mission work is emotional work. And sustaining that work long-term requires more than strategy. It requires awareness, steadiness, and choice. A coaching-centered approach to leadership helps make that shift. Not by removing emotion, but by recognizing the emotions that are already shaping the room and having the tools to respond with intention. And yes, it often means getting more comfortable with the “dirty F-word”: feelings.
