We’re hiring a Microbiology R&D Scientist at Singletto.   This is a hands-on, applied role for someone who enjoys designing experiments, questioning results, and producing data that actually drives real-world decisions. The work directly shapes how our antimicrobial materials perform — and how defensible our claims are.   The role is on-site in our Seattle R&D lab, and it’s a great fit for a microbiologist who likes ownership, rigor, and the realities of early-stage product development. DARPA (the Pentagon’s advanced R&D agency) selects Singletto for its EEI program.   For those less familiar, DARPA is the U.S. agency behind innovations like GPS, the Internet, and stealth aircraft, investing in breakthrough technologies that often reshape both defense and civilian life. Through EEI, DARPA embeds seasoned entrepreneurs into research teams to help bridge the gap between groundbreaking science and real-world adoption.   We’re honored to share that Singletto has been selected for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Embedded Entrepreneur Initiative (EEI). For Singletto, that means expert guidance as we translate our Oxafence® Active Protection platform – materials that inactivate pathogens on contact – from DARPA-funded research into applications across defense and healthcare.   We’re especially excited to welcome Kelli Blaize-Wise, an infectious disease expert with two decades of experience serving DoD and HHS, as our Embedded Entrepreneur. Her expertise will accelerate our path to commercialization and scale.   This milestone is both a validation of the science behind Oxafence® and a springboard toward exploring future applications across defense, healthcare, and beyond.
