Today at AUTONOMOUS 2026, our VP of AI & Computer Vision, Jariullah Safi, joined leaders from Shinkei Systems, QUARTER20, and Raise Robotics to discuss one of robotics’ hardest challenges: Designing teams that repeatedly ship robots at enterprise scale. Jari’s own journey reflects that philosophy. He joined Simbe as an intern and today leads the AI and computer vision organization behind one of the fastest-growing Physical AI companies in the world. When you’re building an entirely new category, there isn’t a playbook to follow. We look for people who are curious, adaptable, and eager to solve problems no one has solved before—and then give them the opportunity to grow alongside the technology they’re creating. One of the panel’s biggest themes was that production AI is fundamentally different from research AI. Great models are only the beginning—because scaling Physical AI demands engineering rigor, robust MLOps, continuous learning from millions of real-world observations, and cross-functional teams that can turn edge cases into competitive advantage. That’s how autonomous systems earn trust and transform industries. A huge thank you to Rohan Savla for the invitation and for founding the inaugural AUTONOMOUS: The Future of Robotics & Physical AI conference. It was exciting to see founders, engineers, operators, investors, and researchers—including many from the Goldman Sachs Asset Management community—come together to advance the next generation of Physical AI. Thank you as well to moderator Rishabh Aggarwal and fellow panelists Mai Bui and Reed Ginsberg for a thoughtful discussion. We’re proud to be helping define what it takes to build AI that performs not just in the lab, but in the real world. #PhysicalAI #Robotics #ArtificialIntelligence #ComputerVision #RetailTech #Autonomous2026

🚨 Spotted something new in Tesco today... I’ve just seen Simbe's #Tally inventory monitoring robot operating in a Tesco store. This marks a first for Tesco in the UK and only the second time we've seen a major UK retailer trialling autonomous shelf-scanning technology. Tally autonomously navigates store aisles, using AI and advanced sensors to continuously scan shelves and identify: ✅ Out-of-stocks ✅ Pricing errors ✅ Misplaced products Rather than relying on manual audits, the robot captures shelf conditions multiple times a day and provides store teams with prioritised action lists via mobile apps and digital or printed reports. The goal is simple: resolve issues faster, improve inventory accuracy, and free up colleagues to spend more time serving customers. According to Simbe, Tally detects 10x more out-of-stock issues than traditional manual shelf audits. What's particularly interesting is that this isn't an isolated innovation. Over the last few weeks, Tesco has also: • Introduced autonomous cleaning robots across convenience and supermarket stores. • Announced a partnership with Hanshow to deploy electronic shelf edge labels in around 3,000 large-format and convenience stores. • Tesco is trialling an AI assistant across its workforce to help customers with meal planning and building shopping baskets Taken together, these announcements paint a much bigger picture. It feels like Tesco is building towards the hyper-connected store, where robotics, AI, computer vision, digital shelf infrastructure and connected operations work together to create smarter store execution, empower store colleagues, and ultimately deliver a better shopping experience. Retail technology conversations often focus on individual innovations. The real transformation happens when these technologies begin to work as an integrated ecosystem. Tesco's recent moves suggest that's exactly the direction it's heading. The question now is: Which UK retailer will be next to accelerate its journey towards the hyper-connected store? #Retail #RetailTechnology #AI #Automation #ComputerVision #InventoryManagement #Tesco #StoreOperations #Innovation #RetailInnovation

Tally here 🤖 🩵 to say a boo-beep congrats to our long-time client and retail partner, Wakefern for being Supermarket News' 2026 Retailer of the Year! This recognition highlights outstanding performance in omnichannel excellence and customer loyalty. No small feat, considering Wakefern Food Corp. is the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the U.S. and operates hundreds of supermarkets across New Jersey, New York, and the East Coast. It is an honor to partner together to improve inventory accuracy, decrease out-of-stocks by about 50%, and free up retail teams to better assist shoppers over the years. Congratulations on the well-deserved recognition!

Today, a great digitized shelf is three things: 🥇 Immediately actionable for store teams 🥈 Understood by leadership 🥉 Connected across inventory, fulfillment and planning systems Because when shelf data is understood in real-time… ✅ Orders are picked faster. ✅ Substitutions drop. ✅ Inventory systems become trustworthy. ✅ Demand forecasting, replenishment, and retail media all get sharper. This is how stores become high-performance fulfillment engines... And how retailers begin to operate with the precision customers expect from the best in eCommerce. Digitized shelves make that possible. #retailoperations #storeoperations #physicalAI #storeintelligence

Congrats are in order for our investor and Eclipse Partner Aidan Madigan-Curtis, named by Business Insider as the first of the 22 investors shaping the future of robotics and physical AI! Aidan’s perspective has always stood out because it’s grounded in scaling technology in the physical world. Before becoming an investor, she led global operations for Apple’s first Apple Watch and helped grow Samsara from the earliest days. Today, she backs companies bringing intelligence to the environments where people live, work, and shop. As Aidan said, robotics' frontier is the intelligence layer that enables machines to understand, adapt, and create value in the real world. As that shift happens, the world’s leading retailers are using physical AI to improve inventory visibility, pricing accuracy, operational efficiency, and store execution at scale. Congratulations, Aidan, on this well-deserved recognition. We’re excited to shape the future of intelligent retail together
