Construction is moving forward at Tipp City Schools, where an investment in the future is coming to life. Shook is the construction manager on the new 218,944-square-foot PK-8 School, a transformative project that will serve nearly 1,800 students. We’re also managing a comprehensive renovation to Tippecanoe High School. At the new PK–8 School, the structure is rising fast. Steel and masonry are underway on the three-story academic wing. At the same time, crews are installing critical infrastructure both below and above ground, laying the foundation for a modern learning environment. Work at the PK-8 School also includes: ✅Pouring the third-floor slab ✅Installing underground mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure ✅Installing roof decking ✅Connecting water and storm utilities At Tippecanoe High School, renovations include improvements to air circulation and indoor air quality throughout the building, along with parking lot repaving, refreshed interior finishes, and exterior restoration. We are continuing through the decades to celebrate our 100-Year Anniversary! As the 1980s dawned, demand for our services continued to grow across Northern Ohio, including work on the Huron Wastewater Treatment Plant. By 1986, the increased work prompted Shook to open our Cleveland-area office. Work elsewhere across Ohio — and across market segments — remained strong as we completed the GM Light Truck Assembly Plant in Moraine, Ohio, and Emery’s Worldwide Hub Terminal Complex at the Dayton International Airport, a project that earned a Build America Award. Every project begins with a purpose. For the Youngstown U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic, it's about better serving those who have served us. Shook served as construction manager for the recently completed adaptive reuse project, renovating 2,520 square feet to improve access to care through a new infusion center and supporting spaces. Highlights of the project include: ✅ Infusion Bays ✅ Exam Rooms ✅ Check-In Desk ✅ Nurse Station ✅ Nutrition Area The result is more than just a renovation. It’s a reimagined space that enhances access to care, supports caregivers, and improves the patient experience. Thank you to partner Design Collaborative and our trade partners. Gold Lot Groundbreaking Puts CLEvolution in Flight ✈️ Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) officially broke ground on the new Gold Lot Parking Development, the first step in the redevelopment plan for Northeast Ohio’s most important transportation hub. Shook is serving as construction manager for the new Gold Lot. We joined community leaders and airport officials for the groundbreaking ceremony, which featured speakers including Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb; Bryant Francis, Director of the Cleveland Department of Port Control; and Cleveland City Councilman Charles J. Slife. The new Gold Lot, with about 1,600 spaces, will be constructed adjacent to Concourse D and marks the first major project in Cleveland Hopkins’ multiyear terminal modernization program, known as CLEvolution. The groundbreaking ceremony “represents a new beginning for Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and for Northeast Ohio,” Francis said at the event. As construction manager of this inaugural step of the airport’s plan, we’re proud to set the standard for delivering a positive impact throughout the construction process, including opportunities for local workers and businesses, and educational opportunities for students. We’re grateful to partner with Passero Associates and HEAPY on the design-build of the Gold Lot. Expanding Access to Care for Our Veterans We recently joined Veterans Affairs officials, civic leaders, veterans, and community members for the groundbreaking of the new VA outpatient clinic in Medina County, Ohio. Shook is the general contractor for the 20,600-square-foot facility, which will bring primary care, behavioral health, and specialized services to thousands of local veterans. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re proud to partner with the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System, CBLH Design Inc., and West Second Street Associates to improve access to care for our veterans. #Construction #Veterans

Recognizing the importance of culture shapes how Shook’s Ben McCafferty leads and delivers results.
