We are seeking an experienced and motivated Injection Machine Setter to support our Plastic Injection department. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting injection moulding machines to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products while meeting production targets and maintaining process stability. Key Responsibilities: · Perform machine setups, mould changes, and production start-ups independently. · Install and configure moulds, robots, and auxiliary equipment. · Moniter and adjust machine parameters to achieve quality and productivity targets. · Troubleshoot machine, process, and product quality issues. · Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and improve efficiency. · Carry out routine inspections and first-level preventative maintenance. · Maintain production records and process documentation. · Support and guide junior setters and production operators. · Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. What We're Looking For: · Minimum 2–4 years' experience in an injection moulding environment. · Proven experience with machine setup, mould changes, and process adjustments. · Good understanding of injection moulding processes and plastic materials. · Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work independently and under production deadlines. · Technical qualification (MQF Level 4) preferred; relevant experience will also be considered. · Experience with robots, automation systems, and auxiliary equipment is an advantage. · Basic computer skills and familiarity with production reporting systems. The Maltese plant manufactures, sells and distributes thermal ventilation, illumination, and dehumidification equipment for the industry across the globe. With its over 30-year presence in Malta, the company employs over 400 individuals. Job Description & Responsibilities: Reporting to the Finance Manager, the selected candidate’s duties include: Carrying out reconciliations for bank, debtors, suppliers, and general ledger entries. Preparing cash reports and bank payments. Assisting in the implementation of new internal controls. Preparing and maintain periodic stock reconciliations together with financial and costing/manufacturing related reports. Compiling and reporting statistical information and other statutory information. Assisting with month-end related tasks, whilst liaising with company stakeholders including Auditors, Debtors and Creditors. Collaborating with IT department to enhance financial automation and reporting. Preparing VAT returns. Providing support in financial analysis and ongoing projects. Overseeing and supporting accounts clerks in their daily duties together with other day to day work within the department as may be required. The ideal candidate will have: Previous work experience in a manufacturing accounts department and basic knowledge of Oracle Business Suite will be considered an asset. Quality Assurance Inspector Role Overview: The Quality Assurance Inspector will support the Quality Department in ensuring that products, materials, and processes meet company and customer quality standards. The role involves conducting inspections, maintaining accurate records, identifying non-conformities, and working closely with Production and Engineering teams to ensure continuous quality improvement and compliance with internal procedures and specifications. Key Responsibilities: · Support the Quality Manager in maintaining the Quality Management System. · Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections in line with company and customer requirements. · Perform quality checks, testing, and audits on materials, components, and finished products. · Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation. · Identify and report non-conformities and assist with corrective actions. · Ensure proper handling and traceability of quarantined materials. · Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams. · Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and properly maintained. · Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure compliance and product quality. · Support employee training on quality procedures where required. · Maintain high housekeeping, safety, and quality standards on the shop floor. · Assist in enforcing workplace discipline and reporting issues when necessary.
