Our mission has always been big: build the tools to better care for our outdoor spaces. Today that mission gets a whole lot bigger. Scythe is joining Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI), the worldwide leader of industrial vehicle automation. ASI’s acquisition of Scythe will bring our industry-leading autonomy stack and advanced computer vision to their established product offerings in off-road environments while further bolstering our rapidly growing deployments of Scythe M.52 with commercial landscape contractors nationwide. We started in landscape equipment to serve the businesses at the forefront of greenspace management. By joining ASI, we’ll continue that work and expand our impact by innovating for customers in other outdoor industries like construction and agriculture as well. This winter we’ve been focused on the work behind the scenes, refining processes and developing new features. Now we’re gearing up for the 2026 season and need a few new team members at our Longmont HQ to support our deployments. Here’s what we’re looking for — check out the job postings in the comment section: Field Robotics Technician Logistics Coordinator (Field Operations) Robotics Systems Support Specialist Warehouse Operations Specialist These roles are central to how we deploy, support, and continue to scale autonomous mowing in real-world commercial environments. If you’re excited about robotics, hands-on problem solving, and building and supporting systems that operate every day in the field, we’d love to talk. Learn more and apply: https://lnkd.in/gPYrySwe

In our latest video, live action footage captures real-world performance of M.52, with nothing pre-programmed or remote controlled, and the visualizations display actual mower data from the same exact scenes. Our industry leading tech stack delivers incredible in-field results, and this is the proof.

Scythe’s got stripes. Scythe’s got slopes. Scythe’s got safety — and so much more. There’s a lot of talk out there about the “future of mowing,” but we’ve already built it. Here’s the proof that our industry-leading tech stack delivers incredible in-field results: https://lnkd.in/g6X3eMc5

🤖 🦀 Early in our founding, the team chose Rust as the primary development language for the mower prototypes that eventually became M.52. This week our Director of Software Engineering Andrew Tinka joined Matthias Endler on the Rust in Production podcast to discuss how this important decision — which was uncommon at the time — shaped the performance of the product and provides the critical safety systems needed when operating in uncontrolled environments.
