Rolin Construction is pleased to welcome Thomas Lawrence as our summer intern. Thomas graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School and is currently pursuing a Building Science degree at Auburn University. This summer, he will be gaining valuable hands-on experience while working alongside our team on the Mobile Airport Authority Terminal Project. We are proud to support the next generation of construction professionals and look forward to seeing Thomas grow throughout his time with us.

The pool renovation at The Lodge at Gulf State Park was a project where the details made all the difference. From the new 7,500 SF pool and pool deck to upgraded landscaping, shade canopies, boardwalk improvements, new fire pits, a full bar buildout, restrooms, and updated pool amenities, every element was designed to create a better guest experience. Projects like this are rewarding because they combine functionality with the kind of spaces people genuinely enjoy using. And having the Gulf as the jobsite view certainly didn’t hurt. We’re proud to have been part of bringing this space to life.

We’re proud to recognize Chester for receiving the Safety Spotlight Award from JESCO, Inc. Construction . This award reflects Chester’s dedication to maintaining a safe jobsite, leading by example, and making sure the people around him go home safely every day. The note that came with the award said it best: “Well done on your efforts taking care of your employees. It’s a true indication of your professionalism.” We’re grateful to have people like Chester on our team.

The Fairhope Pier Working Waterfront Project was a meaningful one for our team because it touched one of the most recognizable places in our community. From the pier itself to South Beach Park, Utopia Park, and the surrounding waterfront, this project focused on improving the spaces people use every day while protecting what makes Fairhope special. We upgraded railings, lighting, sidewalks, landscaping, parking, drainage, restrooms, and seawall infrastructure, while also restoring the fountain and rose garden and improving ADA access throughout the area. It’s always rewarding to work on projects that people will enjoy for years to come, and this one is especially meaningful because it helps preserve such an important part of Fairhope.

A great day for our team with two ribbon cuttings across Baldwin County. We were honored to celebrate the completion of new athletic facilities at Foley High School and Fairhope High School with Baldwin County Public Schools, school leadership, community leaders, and our project partners. These projects represent more than new buildings. They create spaces where students can compete, grow, and take pride in their schools for years to come. From expanded athletic and fine arts spaces in Foley to Fairhope’s new 22,000-square-foot gymnasium, it was rewarding to see both projects officially opened and ready for the students and staff who will use them every day. We’re proud to be part of projects that strengthen our schools and our communities.

Rolin Construction recently completed a series of additions and upgrades at Foley High School, expanding and improving spaces for both athletics and student activities across campus. The project included a new 22,000-square-foot gymnasium and band building, a baseball batting cage facility with coach’s offices and locker rooms, and several updates to existing facilities. These improvements included an expanded girls’ fieldhouse, a new track concession and restroom building, and a renovation of the varsity football locker room. Working alongside McKee & Associates, Inc., our team focused on delivering a quality project while keeping day-to-day school operations running smoothly. The 22,000-square-foot facility features a modern gymnasium and exercise area, along with men’s and women’s locker rooms, coach’s offices, and a canteen space, creating a centralized hub for students, staff, and visitors.
