We're excited to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Roper Bon Secours St. Francis – Mother Baby & NICU Relocations project! This transformative project will include a renovated Mother-Baby Unit and a new Level III NICU, expanding access to specialized care for mothers and newborns throughout the Lowcountry. Once complete, the project will feature larger patient rooms, enhanced family-centered spaces, and a seamless connection to the hospital's Labor & Delivery Unit. Congratulations to our project partners and everyone who helped bring this milestone to life! #OurPassionIsBuilding #BuildingWithPurpose #IBuildWithRodgers Roper St. Francis Healthcare | dwg. | E4H Environments for Health Architecture | a MOREgroup brand
Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital has broken ground on a major renovation of women's and neonatal services, including a full upgrade of our Mother-Baby Unit and a new Level III NICU. These enhancements will not disrupt the high-quality care we already provide to women, infants, and children at the West Ashley hospital. What's coming: ▪️ 22 larger, more comfortable patient rooms ▪️ Enhanced amenities for families and teammates ▪️ A seamless look and feel with our 2021-renovated Labor & Delivery Unit ▪️ Upgraded Level III NICU capable of caring for babies born before 32 weeks gestation ▪️ Private, ICU-style NICU rooms for family-centered care This expansion means more critically ill and premature newborns can be treated close to home, keeping moms and babies together during those crucial first days. Construction continues through the end of the year, with completion expected in Q1 2027.
