Strong communities are built on thriving local businesses—and those businesses deserve to feel safe. That's why, after Burger Basket in Monrovia, California experienced a robbery, they received a new security system from Ring. For owner Phiyapan Pimolasavakun, the difference was immediate. "The picture quality is excellent—beautiful, very clear, sharp, and with great colors. It gives us a much bigger view compared to our old system, so we can see everything. The recording is also much more reliable. It captures almost every minute. If anything happens, we can easily check back and see the full picture of what occurred. This system will definitely help protect our business going forward. You can clearly see people coming and going, and it provides solid proof right away. We feel much more secure now." Has Ring benefited your business? Or are you looking to enhance your business security? Share with us at SpreadTheCheer@ring.com.

Happy Small Business Week! 🎉 Local businesses build community and bring so much life to our neighborhoods. That's why we believe in doing what we can to celebrate them, their customers, and the hardworking people behind the counter. Last week, we visited Holy Roly Ice Cream in Los Angeles to do just that, and to help spread a little cheer to their amazing staff on the shop’s 9th anniversary. Celebrating them was an absolute joy, and so was seeing our new Ring Cheer Chime in action. 👉 If you're looking to explore Cheer Chime for your business, you can check out the Ring Cheer Chime in the Appstore here: https://lnkd.in/gqbfGV-T?

We’re spotlighting one of the first apps in the Ring Appstore: Ring Cheer Chime. Built for small businesses, Ring Cheer Chime turns tips into real-time moments of appreciation. When a customer leaves a tip within your custom threshold via compatible POS, a Ring Chime Pro plays a celebratory sound so teams can hear the impact of their work, instantly. Inspired by the generosity seen across communities — like a recent story captured on a Ring Doorbell, where a homeowner started a GoFundMe for a kind DoorDash driver, raising nearly $1M — Cheer Chime brings that same spirit into everyday moments. 🎁 In honor of the upcoming National Small Business Week, we’re giving away complimentary kits to support shops that can use a little extra cheer. Know a business that would love this? Email spreadthecheer@ring.com to nominate them. 👉 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gwVRKEMG

Why open Ring APIs to third-party developers? I asked Jamie Siminoff, Chief Inventor & Founder of Ring, to explain it directly. What stood out to me is how intentional this launch was 👉 Advances in AI expand what Ring cameras can support well beyond traditional security, and many of those experiences are best built by teams with deep domain knowledge. For developers, this opens up a lot of room to experiment. 🎥 In this clip, Jamie explains why now makes sense for developers building app integrations with Ring.
