💙Yesterday, our team had the pleasure of touring the incredible SnapCab facilities right here in Kingston! A huge thank you to Heather Adams for welcoming Julie Langan and Donna Searles, CCPD and showing us how these innovative spaces are made—just down the street on Railway. If you’ve visited our Resource & Information Centre, you’ve likely noticed our SnapCab pod. We purchased it about five years ago in response to the pandemic to create a private space for clients to complete virtual interviews. It quickly became one of the most utilized parts of our centre—used for staff meetings, client training, employer interviews, and even as a quiet spot to take a call or focus without distractions. We couldn’t be happier with this investment, especially knowing it was made by a local business that’s also a Restart Employer. Here’s what our clients are saying: 💬 “I’m grateful to have this space for job interviews. Living in a shelter makes it hard to find a quiet place.” 💬 “It’s amazing—so quiet! Even when the office is busy, I can complete my WHMIS training and still access staff if needed.” Our Executive Director, Julie Langan, shared: “From purchase to installation, the process was smooth—it was up in six hours without dust or weeks of construction. We’re lucky to have such an innovative business in our community.”
