  • There is an important difference between a security tool that generates alerts and a security operation that responds to threats. Many organizations have the former and believe they have the latter. Alerts get logged. Dashboards fill up. But the analysis, containment, and remediation that actually stops an incident from escalating still requires people who know what they are looking at and are structured to act. RedZone's Threat Detection and Response practice is built around that second half. Malicious activity is identified and contained before it disrupts operations or escalates into material security incidents. The goal, as we define it, is straightforward: fewer successful breaches, faster containment, greater control. That is not a positioning statement. It is a measurable standard we hold every engagement to. 🔴Learn about Threat Detection and Response: https://lnkd.in/eN4Afw8a

  • Compliance, staffing gaps, and operational risk are front and center at this year's IL Rural Health Association Conference, and they're the same pressures driving cybersecurity exposure for rural hospitals and RHCs with lean IT teams. We'll be at the IRHA Annual Conference, July 29–30 in Champaign, talking with rural health leaders about where IT risk hides behind the more visible compliance and staffing challenges on this year's agenda. 📍 I-Hotel, Champaign 📅 July 29–30, 2026 If you're attending, let's grab time to talk about closing the gaps before they become breaches. Drop a comment or DM us to set up a meeting on-site. #RuralHealth #Cybersecurity #Healthcare #IRHA2026

  • Most technology environments are managed across a mix of internal teams and external vendors. Infrastructure handled by one provider, security by another, compliance by a third, cloud by whoever set it up. Each operates within their lane. Responsibility is distributed. But when something goes wrong, accountability is not, and the coordination required to find it slows everything down. RedZone removes that fragmentation. We operate as a single accountable structure across the entire environment: IT, security, compliance, and cloud managed together with defined ownership and consistent enforcement. When an issue surfaces, there is no ambiguity about who resolves it. That structural clarity is not a service feature. It is a fundamentally different way of operating that changes outcomes in regulated environments. See the difference: https://lnkd.in/eWqBAttm

  • When a financial institution had an emergency, they got exactly the response a regulated organization in a critical situation needs. Their IT Director put it simply: "I want to thank you for supporting us last night with our emergency. You deployed your A-Team and it is refreshing to have a vendor respond with a sense of urgency and resourcefulness. Our IT manager said that RedZone was just awesome." That kind of response does not happen by accident. It is the result of how RedZone is structured: single accountability across the environment, clearly defined escalation paths, and a team that treats every client situation as if the outcome is their responsibility. Because it is. Read more client stories: https://lnkd.in/eTpgZevf

  • A genuine question for IT Directors, CIOs, and technology leaders in regulated industries: 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗧 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆? Maybe it is the quality of reporting, or the absence of it. Maybe the response is fast but nothing ever really gets resolved at the root. Maybe you feel like a ticket number rather than a client. Or maybe it is something else entirely. Drop your answer in the comments. We read every response, and the honest feedback from people managing IT in regulated industries directly shapes how RedZone builds and delivers its services. No pitch, no agenda, just a genuine question from a team that believes this industry can do considerably better.

  • CMMC Phase 2 enforcement begins November 2026, and for organizations that handle Controlled Unclassified Information or operate on DoD contracts, that date is a hard line, not a planning target. The certification journey from gap assessment through third-party audit typically takes 6 to 12 months, which means organizations starting today are working with a tight window and organizations waiting until later this year are likely looking at contract eligibility risk. RedZone manages CMMC readiness as a continuous compliance function, not a one-time project. Controls are aligned to frameworks, evidence is collected automatically, and documentation is maintained continuously so the audit reflects your actual operating state rather than a version assembled under pressure. If you have not started the CMMC conversation, the time is now. Start here: https://lnkd.in/eP37yWdU

  • The average healthcare data breach has exceeded $10 million for several years running, according to IBM's Cost of a Data Breach Report. Financial services is not far behind. Here is what most IT budgets miss: the breach figure is only one line item in the true cost of reactive IT. The full picture also includes: → Downtime that does not show up as downtime (degraded performance, workarounds that become permanent) → Internal staff hours spent compensating for an MSP that only responds when tickets open → Audit prep cycles that pull leadership attention away from growth → Compliance friction that delays deals and raises cyber insurance premiums For mid-market organizations in financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, and DoD-adjacent sectors, these hidden costs routinely exceed the visible ones. The fix is not a better ticketing system. It is a different operating model. We broke down the real numbers and what replaces them in our latest blog: https://lnkd.in/eXnetzgh

  • Big news to share. Passpoint Security, a RedZone Technologies company, has been named a winner of the 2026 AI in Cybersecurity Innovation Award from TMC The award recognizes Passpoint's AI-Verified PTaaS (Penetration Testing as a Service), a solution built to help security teams move faster and test smarter against a threat landscape that keeps evolving. This recognition reflects something we believe deeply at RedZone: security can't be a once-a-year checkbox. It has to be continuous. Continuous testing. Continuous validation. Continuous improvement. Congratulations to the entire team on this well-earned recognition! Want to see how continuous penetration testing fits into your security strategy? • Most organizations cannot clearly state their current security posture. Not because they lack tools. Because they lack continuous validation. 𝗜𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲? Most IT leaders cannot. Dashboards show activity. Reports describe past conditions. But none of that tells you what is happening this minute, and in a regulated industry, that blind spot is exactly where risk lives. RedZone's Continuous Posture practice closes that gap. Real-time discovery across infrastructure, endpoints, and cloud. Continuous mapping of systems and dependencies. Drift identified and corrected as it happens, not flagged in next quarter's review. When posture is maintained continuously, that question has an answer at all times. Not assembled after the fact. Available the moment someone asks. 👉 See how Continuous Posture works: https://lnkd.in/eC2mezxw
