I had an absolute blast at #RDHUOR the past few days! Thanks to the over 900 hygienists who came by to play, chat and learn more about quip. (and our new string floss!) Spending time on the floor, I was struck by how absolutely marvelous it is to see what I truly believe is a renaissance in Oral Care....being led by incredible female founded and led brands. From Brynn MacLennan at Slate Flosser, to Samantha C. Coxe at Flaus, to Chrystle Cu and Catherine Cu at COCOLAB, the brands making an impact are increasingly driving forward oral care as a beautiful, personal and FUN part of everyday health care. Are we competition? Sure.... But let's look at this from a different angle. In reality this space is still wildly concentrated. Wildly. There is absolutely room for more players that will disrupt not only stagnancy in the category, but also that will elevate oral care in people's minds and hearts. It kind of does take a village. We can all win. And I'm inspired how many women are breaking in and breaking through this historically male dominated space. We all come from very different experiences and pathways, and my hat is fully tipped to the brands not only led by, but also FOUNDED by badass female entrepreneurs. You are absolute rockstars. 🤩 Cheers to you all, ladies. 🦷 🚀 🩷 Now I'm heading back home (well...eventually...these flight delays out of D.C. are something else!) with my cup filled and my heart so happy. Thanks RDH for putting on another incredible event. We'll see you next year.
