  • For years, vertical video has been associated with social media. Highlights. Reels. Short-form content. But according to the latest 𝐒𝐕𝐆 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐓𝐕 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 the conversation is changing. Vertical viewing is increasingly becoming part of the live sports experience. As sports consumption continues to shift towards mobile devices, fans are no longer simply catching up on the action vertically, they're watching it live. And that creates a new challenge for broadcasters. How do you deliver a viewing experience designed for a vertical screen without compromising the integrity of the live production? Because creating a compelling vertical experience isn't as simple as cropping a 16:9 feed. The action needs to stay in frame. The story needs to remain intact. The viewer shouldn't feel like they're watching a compromise. As audience behaviour evolves, the industry has an opportunity to rethink how live sports can be experienced on the screens fans use most. At Quidich, we've been exploring exactly this challenge through QuickFlip. Imagine taking a live world feed designed for television and seamlessly transforming it into a platform-native 9:16 experience in real time- without additional cameras, dedicated operators, or changes to the production workflow. Running entirely on the cloud, QuickFlip uses AI to identify the centre of action, intelligently reframe the feed, and deliver a vertical broadcast experience built for mobile-first audiences. The result isn't simply a cropped feed. It's a live viewing experience that feels as though it was created for the vertical screen from the very beginning. Take a look at the video and tell us: Will vertical viewing become a standard live sports format over the next few years? • Due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and resulting travel disruptions, Quidich Innovation Labs will not be participating in Sports Innovation Düsseldorf this year. Our team was looking forward to being there and connecting with the community, which makes this decision especially difficult. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted. Wishing all attendees a successful show, and we hope to reconnect soon under better circumstances. Team Quidich

  • Book a Demo : https://rebrand.ly/tw2ls51 One final. A whole new way of watching football. The recently concluded EMAAR Super Cup final proved that live sport doesn’t have to choose between tradition and mobile-first viewing. With one clean workflow, the same production delivered a format built for today’s scrolling, tapping, vertical-first audiences. Because turning 16:9 into vertical isn’t about cropping. It’s about understanding the rhythm of the game, anticipating key moments, and keeping the emotion and storytelling intact. On 27th December 2025, while supporting the broadcast, Quidich delivered a mobile-native viewing experience with QuickFlip, our AI-powered tool that transforms horizontal live feeds (16:9) into real-time vertical video (9:16, 1:1), without extra cameras, post-production work, or editorial compromise. This wasn’t just a format change. It was a shift in how live sport meets fans where they already are, while preserving the drama of the game, and offering fans a fresh way to experience football without sacrificing quality. If you’re exploring what this could look like for your broadcasts, let’s connect. Book a demo and see the future of live sport in action. #EMAARSuperCup #LiveSports #FootballBroadcast #SportsTech #MobileFirst #VerticalVideo #QuickFlip #AIinSports #LiveProduction #BroadcastInnovation #FutureOfSports

  • Check out the blog : https://rebrand.ly/tw2ls51 The EMAAR Super Cup Final made history by going live in a vertical format on TikTok, powered by QuickFlip, Quidich Innovation Labs’ AI-driven vertical production workflow. Built as a cloud-native solution, QuickFlip enabled remote, scalable deployment while transforming the traditional 16:9 broadcast feed into a 9:16, vertical-first live output with customised graphics. By intelligently reframing live action in real time, QuickFlip delivered a mobile-optimised viewing experience, extending football’s reach to digital-native audiences across social and short-form platforms. But taking a traditional broadcast into a mobile-first world isn’t as simple as changing the shape of the screen. It became a real-time experiment in how live football can reach mobile-first audiences without running a second production. One world feed. One workflow. A completely new way to watch. #UAEProLeague #EMAARSuperCup #Football #QuickFlip #VerticalProduction #AI #MoblieFirst #TikTok

  • Proud to partner with the UAE Pro League at the EMAAR Super Cup Final 2025 in Dubai, deploying QuickFlip, our AI-powered vertical production workflow, for a league-first vertical live broadcast tech deployment. This also marks the first time the league broadcasts a match LIVE on TikTok, and the first-ever QuickFlip deployment at the EMAAR Super Cup, as Shabab Al-Ahli vs Sharjah FC streams live in the UAE. Built as a cloud-native solution, QuickFlip enables remote, scalable deployment while transforming the traditional 16:9 broadcast feed into a 9:16, vertical-first live output with customised graphics. By intelligently reframing live action in real time, QuickFlip delivers a mobile-optimised viewing experience, extending football’s reach to digital-native audiences across social and short-form platforms. This moment marks a continued expansion of QuickFlip in football broadcasting workflows, as we keep building the future of digital-first live sport. #QuidichInnovationLabs #QuickFlip #UAEProLeague #EmaarSuperCup #TikTokLive #Football #SportsBroadcast #LiveProduction #VerticalVideo #AI #SportsTech
