Some of the most valuable workplace skills aren’t learned in internships. That’s why we’re proud supporters of The Social Mobility Foundation's #SeeMySkills campaign, which encourages employers to recognise the valuable skills young people develop through experiences outside the classroom.   Part-time jobs, volunteering and caring responsibilities all build resilience, communication and problem-solving skills long before someone enters the workplace.   In this video, Chelsea Gilchrist, a Senior Manager on our Private Business Tax team shares how those experiences shaped her career - and why recognising potential means looking beyond traditional pathways. #WorldSkillsDay

We’re thrilled to kick off an exciting summer at PwC as we welcome more than 400 university students across 16 of our UK offices to our summer internship programme. It’s an opportunity for them to discover what life at PwC is like, explore the wider world of business, and start building valuable connections for their future. Monday’s induction event gave our interns the chance to meet one another and spend time with our teams, followed by a fun social activity. Over the coming weeks, they’ll work alongside experts in their fields on real client projects, develop technical and behavioural skills, and make a positive impact in local communities through volunteering initiatives. Keep an eye out for updates from our interns across July. We can’t wait to see what they achieve as they begin their PwC journey. Grow here. Go further. #SoYouCan
